Home-made pies. Amazing. Steak was so soft. There is plenty of filling. Nice rice, gravy. Amazing portion size. Well priced also .

We’ve often called here over the years and it has always been of a very high standard. We are lucky enough to have had lunch here twice in the last 2 weeks and have been impressed both times. The food is always outstanding, and we’ve tried lots of different things from the menu. The service is always friendly and efficient and it’s not overpriced for what it is. The atmosphere is always welcoming, whether they are quiet or busy and nothing is too much trouble. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone as we have never been let down by coming here.

Lovely staff and delicious pizza

The food wasn't bad, it was even tasty. The problem was that it was dripping with grease. There was more oil than food.

What’s the point in having an online ordering system if when you arrive 3 hours later at the specified time you’re told we haven’t got your order and you’ll have to have what we have got left. Wafer thin chicken you can get from Tesco and certainly not what you’d expect for the prices charged. First time using and definitely the last. Avoid at all costs

Seems to have deteriorated since last visit in 2023. Food very average as was service.

4 adults and 2 children for late afternoon excellent Sunday lunch. Staff very helpful and friendly. I would recommend for a meal.

It’s very deceiving from outside , which gives the appearance of being closed , BUT it’s a pub that has limited hours I now have discovered, M to S , 18.00 to xxxx , on Sunday 12.00 to 16.00 & 19.00 to 23.00 Once inside the Hosts are very friendly , great range of Draughty Ale ie Bass etc , It has a very comfortable atmosphere and was surprised how big & busy it was it was , when we visited , with the majority of the clients walking , hardly any vehicles outside , Looking forward to visiting again soon ,

Food not hot. Lumps in everything. Service slow. Prices high. Huge gaps between courses. Our coffee was ordered but we had to remind the Staff to bring it to the table. My fellow diner found two hard lumps of carrot at the bottom of the bowl the tepid tomato soup was served in

For a 2* hotel this was a comfortable weekend's stay with helpful staff. Good simple food. Vegetarian options. We used as part of a coach trip and as a large group the size of this hotel allowed all to be accommodated. Lift for the less able to access upper floors. Located of sea front, with easy access to Promenade, shore line and pebble beech. Equidistant between the Great and Lesser Orme.

2 hours late, dry, terrible food. No answer to the phone. The app said 10 mins , I asked the delivery guy why no answers and that I wanted a refund. He just kept saying no no no and walked away from me in the end. Can agree with previous comments - don’t waste your time or money here! The worst!!!!
