What a great pub! Food, atmosphere and service was amazing, was cool to see some of the locals catching up for drinks at the bar, something we don’t see so much in Aus.

Fantastic pub, we go for the pizza everytime we stay in Penrhynside. Good selection of drinks, and the terrace at the back is lovely!

Food excellent (when you get it) but the whole experience was spoiled by quite appalling service for both food and drinks.

Lovely friendly local pub. Food was limited but well cooked. Wood fired pizzas (fabulous) chilli or sausage and mash. We had pizza and tried the chilli which we all really enjoyed. Served with a smile. Lovely log fire and if wished some games. We played jenga just for fun. We stayed above the pub in a lovely apartment so had no issues with parking.

We arrived mid afternoon, staying locally and ventured to this pub. We, ourselves work in the trade so have high expectations. We were greeted by friendly staff and immediately made to feel at ease by the lovely lady behind the bar, the owner and the regular customers. We felt so at home. Standards are high, the food is amazing and so much love has been put into the decor. I was knocked out by how clean everything appeared and the relaxed efficiency. It was a Monday night and the most amazing jazz performance took place. We simply don't want to leave and wish that this was our local. We are here until Friday and cannot foresee going anywhere else. Already planning a return in the summer months. All we can say is thank you so much!!!

came here on Monday night with my friend and my little girl it's the first time I've been and I can't wait to come back again . we both had a pizza each and 2 bowls of chips the food was lovely and very tasty . The staff were lovely and made a big fuss of my little girl . we all had a lovely evening 😊thank you very much 😊 x

Great cosy pub with a large outdoor seating area. Only downside was they don't turn the outdoor heaters on unless there's an event I was told.

Warm, friendly, village pub. Serves a great Sunday roast with small meal available for not so hearty eaters

Great food, good atmosphere, poor service. Lovely pizza's but our night was spoilt by our guests food order was forgotten arriving 30 mins after ours and the young untrained staff obviously didn't know how to deal with keg beer.

Superb pizzas at a reasonable price. Decent pint. Live music and a jazz band most weeks.

The fresh pizzas were very nice, the desserts were tasty and everything was value for money. No parking nearby so walked up from a nearby street.

Lovely place, felt very oldy worldly in a good way! Large party with three kids, made to feel very welcome. Lovely food

We had 3 lovely meals at the Penrhyn arms whilst on holiday in the area. The staff are all very friendly and efficient, the pub has a great atmosphere and we enjoyed the live music on Saturday evening. I would love to return one day and can't recommend highly enough

Went in for a quick drink. The atmosphere, friendliness of the staff, beautiful fire places burning brightly, and the variety of music made me stay for another 2 drinks and delicious Sunday lunch. Excellent

Cosy pub on a winter’s day with blazing fire. Just stopped by for a drink this time but have eaten pizza there in the past and it was good. I saw this time that there are vegan options. Happy to have the children there.

I went to a Christmas party there last night with 11 people and the food was absolutely amazing! Turkey dinner with all the trimings was so good. There was a duo singing who were great. I would highly recommend! Thanks for hosting a great night had by all!

Really, really lovely pub. Beautifully done out....Still keeping it's pub feel. Really cosy but also up to date. The food was excellent. We were a group of 8, there for mine and my partners hen weekend. All served promptly and everyone was happy with their meals. Highly recommended.

Great staff, superb pizza and cracking Jazz band.

Just had my birthday meal here. Was told we could order pizza only (which was fine) and was excellent.. apart from we waited 90 minutes for it to arrive and it seemed there were only 2 other tables who were having food. To rub salt in the wound we were refused pudding afterwards. I love this pub and have been here often for drinks but I’m pretty sure their chef was very late and we were not happy at all we couldn’t order desserts after our our mains even though they were still listed on the board. Definitely needs to be mentioned as I wouldn’t have booked here if I’d have known. Table next to us with 10 people felt the same way. Not amused they couldn’t order dessert. Lost out on 15 desserts there just because their chef clearly couldn’t be bothered

Popped in here for Sunday lunch when we were staying in a local property for a few days. Well worth a visit - a proper traditional pub, very friendly service and 1st class food - even our dog was welcomed. Just disappointed we were unable to make another visit to sample the wood-fired pizzas. Hopefully we will next time. We'll worth a visit.

Wonderful pub. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and carefully chosen range of beers. If you like jazz Monday evening is essential. Seriously talented musicians, as good as you will hear all for £10.

I don't normally leave bad reviews but I honestly had the worst service possible at this pub half way through serving me ran food said would be back then 2 people served before me when the other member staff came on the bar..If your not a local don't bother ...Food was excellent.

Woodfired pizza, good selection of ales

Really good quality beer. Haven’t visited for some time and it’s had a well thought through investment. There’s a garden at the back which was a great surprise. It’s like a little Mediterranean oasis. Staff are all very friendly and pizza seemed to be popular with the locals.

We went here on our first night in Llandudno because they are dog friendly and their pizzas had great reviews. Yes the pizza was incredible (and so were the Cajun wedges) but what we actually found was probably the most welcoming pub we have ever been to. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. A log burning fire, great atmosphere and energy, sensibly priced drinks and really relaxing at the same time. We love this place and when we go back to Llandudno we will be back at the Penryhyn arms for sure!

We’ve just finished two truly scrumptious pizzas swished down with John’s quality beers and cider. Must come back for a Sunday lunch - if this is anything to go by!

Update: remove a star. Went back there again and the pizza had peppers that had gone bad. They didn't have more peppers to redo it so gave my money back. Been there 3 times already. Love the swing jazz band playing there. I'm usually not a pizza person but it seemed to be a thing there, I decided to give it a go. We had 2 different flavours to share and despite none of them are the things I would order, they were really delicious. Crispy crust and very flavourful. I'd definitely have their pizza again. Mind you they stop serving pizza at 8pm! Went there again very recently and the pizza was still fantastic. Had vegetarian pizza and Greek pizza. I prefer the vegetarian one more.

Loads of ales on with a good range of ciders and perries. Has a rooftop patio. 🍺 🍻

Lovely traditional pub. We went at Christmas, and there were log fires burning at either end of the room. Apparently, the pizzas are very good but we didn't try one.

Friendly staff who met us ,we hadnt realised that it was a pizza restaurant but we were advised by staff and enjoyed the experience, down side was that due to the area parking was a nightmare, but the pub aren't able to much about it.

We stayed in the apartment above the Pub which was modern and lovely and clean. We were welcomed to scones and a few essentials which we were very grateful for.Its a little hidden gem. Host was lovely and welcoming too. The tropical gardens are absolutely beautiful. We had two of their lovely pizzas which were full of flavour. Would definitely come again.

LOVE. was such a lucky find, like a tardis the garden goes on forever, such a gorgeous setting and really lovely and cosy inside. The staff were so nice and friendly, wish we could've stayed longer but will definitely go back.

Brilliant! Being local I must admit that, to be fair, I'm biased but this was prior to the Penrhyn Arms serving food. It's a hidden gem, forget your Pizza Huts and all the commercial chains. I'd recommend visiting. Nice fire, décor and food..lots of real ales. Awesome!

Popped in while exploring the Llandudno area.. Big family atmosphere and plenty of room for 2 strangers to sit, enjoy a good beer and watch people eat their massive Sunday dinners. Tidy!

Was so excited about this place as the food looks amazing and it is dog friendly (or so I’ve been told) but unable to park anywhere. Very narrow road.

Really impressed! Fantastic beers, amazing terraced garden at rear of pub, pizza oven & at time of visit so impressed to see Landlord view beer & decide end of barrel! Could only stay for a short while so will be back & just go and enjoy a great pub !!

Great pub! Faultless pizza, all cooked outside in a wood fired oven. Amazing garden space at the back with seating, was tipping it down so we couldn’t sit outside but so picturesque. Inside is brilliant too. Great staff, friendly atmosphere. Lovely clean toilets. All round a great place to go!
