A bald gentlemen who I can only assume is the owner was very rude. As I arrived at 11:57 he informed me he want open until 12 and wouldn’t allow myself or my 90 year old grandmother to use his toilet u til he was open. Baring in mind the party of 7 I was with were going to eat here for lunch. He put his hand up in a rude manner to bar my entry saying he wasn’t licensed to allow me in even to use the toilet until 12. Despite his website saying he was open at 11am. No hospitality or manners about him at all.

Great staff, they have humour and exceptional servicing. Pretty fast with what they do and not too expensive. Price is well for the quality and taste of the desserts.

Blonde girl with braces was extremely snotty and rude. I used to love this pub but this person made us feel less than unwelcome. Rolling of eyes when asked a simple question. Genuinely shouldn’t work in hospitality. Not had food yet so hopefully that’ll rectify the situation but this person should not be working in a pub. Awful truly awful

Right I’m going to be honest with this one, curry’s are ok they are not the best but they are definitely not the worst, always come in the takeaway and have a laugh with the guys in there but I can’t help noticing and I’m not stupid every time I go in here after a few drinks I get charged more than I usually do when I go in totally sober, the manager definitely tries to have your pants down he has done it a few times and me and my mates have left thinking “why did it cost that much?” Anyway I have stopped going now due to this and won’t return, good customer lost my friend!!!!

Ordered a chicken burger with lettuce and mayo , was 15 minutes late to deliver and to top it off it came without mayo and gone of lettuce

We used to love this cafe together with a great, well stocked garden centre. Fabulous cakes, buns and meals and we've never had a problem. However, our visit during the first week in Jan 24 was an eye opener. I gave my cup back because it was dirty so was given a clean one. Both teapots were stained outside even though we only got hot water to put our specialty tea bags in. When we used some of the milk we found the inside of the jug was covered in black mould spots. The person I spoke to and showed the jug to just shrugged her shoulders and said everything goes through the dishwasher. Funnily enough my review on Google has been taken down as have the pictures of the filthy crockery.

Ordered a chicken kebab on naan … never got the naan bread, all I got was a thick and dense pitta bread and not the light proper naan I was expecting. This isn’t the first time this has happened, should have thought better but gave them the benefit of the doubt … they either need to up their game or completely revamp their menu as I won’t be ordering from here again …. Very disappointed
