A really good place to stop for breakfast. (Very clean & Hygienic inside) All of the staff were very polite and friendly. A very good choice of options on the menu. Food was very good. I cant wait to call back and try some of their S.A. inspired breakfast options!

8 of us visited on 30th March and were seated in a lovely alcove which was liked being in a private seating area. Great for if you don't want to have kids running around. The staff were really lovely but service was unbelievably slow. We waited ages. Those of us who had the roast beef had difficulty cutting it, despite it ɓeing pink, very thinly sliced (which I don't want in a restaurant) and still found it so after requesting steak knives to cut it with. I would NEVER order beef there if I went there again. The presentation of the roast dinner was beautiful. However, I don't want separate dishes of vegetables on the table. I want my own. The volume of greens was nowhere near enough - 4 small dishes, barely bigger than ramekins, between 8 people. The Sticky toffee pudding was, frankly, the worst I've ever had. A stodgy sponge with sauce that had little sweetness. I would never choose that again either. Presentation was good though. The decor and ambience was very nice and there is plenty of car parking. All in all, it isn't cheap at this restaurant and, I would say they need to concentrate on the taste of the food. It seemed to me to be presentation over substance.

Lovely experience. Proper home cooked food, no cutting the corners. Presented perfectly, 3 different dishes all amazing, 4 person table. Proper sized plates of food. Staff member inspoke with was lovely, overall incase very pleased. Atmosphere was good, locals seemed a happy bunch. Even though it was a hot, sunny night and it was busy. There was place to park and didn't wait for long to get a drink. We are coming back here again Thanks

I was a regular here for a Sunday breakfast, a year or so ago. Today I called in for a lunch. In my 65+ years, I’ve never eaten anywhere so poorly maintained, and utterly filthy. I ordered at the till with its awfully cluttered new ordering system, but had to wait because there were no table numbers in the tray. I managed to find someone- ! - who bought three out. I picked up one of the 2 clean cups left, to go to the machine for a coffee. Looking for a 2-seater table, I avoided FIVE tables because they were covered with someone else's filth. When I picked one, I sat down to drink the( 2/3rds full) coffee - it was almost cold. When my meal came out, it had ‘french fries’ instead of proper chips, and the peas were stone cold.
