Priory Cafe in Bromsgrove

I had googled this place before our very long walk along the canal. What a find! I’m not sure who loved it more, us or our dog who was given his own bowl of treats. Great food. Lovely staff and well priced. I really wish we were locals and could go again

Relaxed, friendly atmosphere, with the personal touch. Great value food, cooked freshly to order and nothing is too much trouble. Portions are huge! Has become our weekly 'go to' after daughter's early morning swim. The owner is happy for her to study after breakfast and is appreciative of her additional needs - always remembers her order, which makes her love the place and the staff even more! Highly recommend!

Our first visit here,first impressions very nicely laid out,cosy and the menu was really good,great selection of food.the meals are a good size and very tasty.i took my friend and therapy dog "Angel" (ESA) with us and was treated really well.id like to give this company a 5 ***** rating I'm very impressed..keep up the good work!! Easy parking. Lovely cafe food was excellent and sooo much choice. Prices very reasonable, 3 of us and it came to £30 food, cakes and drinks. Really friendly helpful staff. Will definitely be back again thank you for a relaxed visit

Ordered a cheese and ham toastie. What I got was cheese and ham warm bread. And £5! This is my second attempt ordering. 1st time the delivery drive was really rude

Great place for lunch! Tasty & varied food selection at excellent prices. Richard & Becky are fabulous! Always so friendly,and nothing is too much to ask. Service is very quick and tables are always cleaned after each sitting. Good for couples, family, friends, business and solo diners. We return every week. Can't recommend enough!

Attended for a little bite to eat , the tea and scones were delicious , the food was very nice , quite a few flys inside though so bit off putting

Lovely well cooked full English breakfast on my last visit, dog friendly as well treating him to water and a sausage. I usually pop in if I'm out walking the dog along the canal between the Queens Head and Navigation. Cafe is set in a Heritage canalside development with lots of other businesses around them including Fudge Heaven, also well worth a visit if your in the area !

We were at the navigation pub across the road, which was really good, and we went for breakfast each morning. Very generous portions and lots of choice real value for money. The staff cooked a sausage for the dog with the family next to us. Lovely touch. Definitely recommend.

We Ordered two breakfasts to the mass vaccination centre in bromsgrove at the artrix and they eggceeded eggspectations. One breakfast consisting of 4 eggs, 3 sausages, 5 bacon, 3 hashbrowns, a tin of beans and toast galore - a breakfast fit for kings. The bacon was crispy (as expected) which was a real treat. Fast delivery and reliable - 10/10 will order again!

Found this place quite by accident but so glad we did.. Had a wonderful brekkie, friendly staff & warm welcome.. Will definitely go back if we're in the area again

Great breakfast sandwich! Tasty and good value ! Rang through the order and was ready for collection when we arrived. Recommended!

Don't go here if you're vegetarian, the cross contamination is ridiculous. I noticed that they use the same knife for all sandwich fillings, without a chopping board which I thought was bad, but to top it off, I just found bacon in my mushroom sandwich indicating that they use the same pans for cooking both meat and vegetarian foods. Really disappointed... I certainly will not be going back.

Been a few times. Very homely approach / style. On this visit we had breakfast. 2 small and a toastie with hashbrown for the daughter. Food served quick, although beans and toms could have been warmer -but certainly not off putting and will continue to use.

This cafe was lovely,good selection on the menu. Our food was excellent,prompt service and friendly staff. Loved all the decor aswell,tastefully done. Highly recommended this cafe. Well done all.

The Priory has sadly gone extremely expensive, small portions and the staff aren't friendly at all. It's as if the customer is an inconvenience! Over £5 for a small salad box is ridiculous. Fine if you're dining in, but for a take out it's very over priced

Visiting area, didn't fancy expensive buffet style breakfast at hotel. We had a lovely breakfast at the Priory Cafe, generous portions (we had the "small" option) which is anything but small. Good mug of tea. Good prompt service with a smile. Highly recommend.

This place I have visited a number of time and each time I have returned my thoughts on the place improves, the food is exactly what is needed, excellent. Sausages tasteful, bacon plentiful, mushrooms piles of them, beans they are the best and then hash browns bread and butter and a mug of tea, this place when I am feeling hungry I head for and is well worth the visit, the female staff are lovely and yes eye candy and I think he is the owner but a decent chap, all in all worth a trip

Stopped here for breakfast at 11am and ordered the Full English. It was great - Everything was well cooked, bacon not overdone, eggs runny, great fried bread- could not fault it and staff were very friendly. I even had a newspaper to read whilst waiting.

Just a short review but hopefully helpful for others.

Always a pleasure, never had a bad meal here whether take out or eat in. Great value for quality, child friendly and pleasant staff. Would highly recommend hot sandwiches... Bacon, Egg and Mushroom.... my go to. Love it.

A nondescript car park just off the main road belays what hides in The Priory Cafe. It has an extensive menu including 4 boards of specials of well produced family meals. We chose salads and the chicken tikka with mint raita was full of flavour....

Comida de la cafetería estándar, poco demasiado caro en algunas cosas para lo que es. El personal puede ser desagradable y no abierto a la crítica o consultas. Se vuelve muy concurrido a la hora de comer, así que prepárate para esperar.

Los metales y minerales en Industrial sería un pecado a llamar esta cuchara grasienta. Es todo, pero con todos los días y más, la comida se sirve aquí está bien presentado en un ambiente impecable. El personal es muy agradable y afable.

Un pequeño café/restaurante que ofrece auténtica comida de calidad. El personal era excelente y ofrece extra simplemente porque se olvidaron patatas un plato de pan y mantequilla, que no nos moleste. incluso Excepcional. Edificio muy agradable para sentarse.

Llamé en este café, que es parte de un complejo más grande, para el almuerzo en días laborables. Mi pedido fue tomado en el mostrador y se sirve dentro de un tiempo razonable, a pesar de un gran número de otros clientes pedir comida para llevar y recoger 'comida'. Este café es obviamente muy popular con la gente que trabaja en las inmediaciones de las unidades comerciales. Conveniente aparcamiento disponible. La comida estaba preparado a mi gusto y a un precio razonable. Las sillas de la cafetería eran especialmente cómoda y prensa gratuita para el uso de los clientes era un toque agradable.

We only popped in for a takeway breakfast on a Saturday morning. Who'd know it was even there tucked away on the little industrial estate.It was GREAT. Fantatsic service. Right - first time despite being quirky with the sandwiches. Reasonable prices and very quick. The mixture of bacon and egg and sausage sandwiches couldn't be faulted, very very tasty and the menu selection was simple but varied enough to make you come back for more. Great coffee just topped it off.The management at the Navigation Inn across the road should sit in here every day until they learn what people want. How to cook it. And what to charge. Then go away and try and give it some competition (Huuuuge task I know!)The decor is simple and comfortable. A greasy spoon it is not!Do yourself a favour and go and try it out!

What a great place. They have provided everything you might need from the toothpicks on each table to the things a woman more get need in the ladies room. I had the small Breakfast it was more than enough for me,freshly cooked and served fast.

Popped in for a drink while passing; very impressed - very reasonable prices, varied menu, friendly and efficient staff.9 year old son very pleased as they gave him a complimentary ice cream!Would definitely recommend.

We popped in following a recommendation from the boatyard across the way for a quick coffee (we would never have noticed it otherwise). Service was friendly and efficient, and although we didn't eat the menu looked quite good with a mixture of more traditional cafe food and things a little more exciting.

Visited on a Saturday morning for breakfast. This is a medium sized cafe, very welcoming, homely, clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and obliging with our changes to the standard menu. Four of us had the Small Breakfast and one had the vegetarian breakfast - of which 2 items were not wanted so the proprietor offered to replace these with other/more vegetarian options. Everything was freshly cooked to order and it all arrived together which included our toast and tea/coffee. It was all hot and delicious, of a substantial quantity equivalent to a huge portion and well worth the reasonable price. The Large Breakfast was a lot bigger with two of everything if you have a large appetite.We watched staff make other breakfast sandwiches and luncheon sandwiches, they all looked large, fresh and appetising. There is a good menu to choose from and everything is reasonably priced. The facilities were well looked after and very clean. If you are in the area it's definitely worth a visit.

I'm not sure if this cafe is now under new management, as it seems now to close at 3 PM, with "last orders"at 2:30 PM!There are some nice looking home-made cakes but unfortunately no pots of tea only mugs. I had a latte which was fine.

My wife and I went to see a lead window specialist on this canal side site. We needed a snack and a coffee before we left to go to our next appointment so called in. We were treated to the biggest toasted tea cake I've ever seen and to excellent mugs of coffee. Whilst there we saw two people buy there 'large breakfast' which was so huge I couldn't help mentioning it to one of the diners as I was leaving.If you're going for a walk on the canal, visiting one of the other shops on site or just feel hungry just go, you won't be disappointed.I was a hotelier and caterer for forty years and lectured in Food Hygiene so do know what I'm talking about. Good luck to the new owners.

The worst customer service I have ever witnessed, I heard about the cafe through a old friend.. so I searched online and found the phone number to place an order.. when i rang... the man was extremely rude and acted asif he didnt want the custom! He repeatedly told me he could not understand me, which therefore resulted in him swearing and placing the phone down.. all in all the customer service wasn't there.. and did not recieve my breakfast treat! VERY UPSET!!!!

On two separate occasions the man behind the counter has licked his fingers to separate paper bags then touched my food with the same immediately afterwards.

Just had the most amazing lunch at the Priory cafe. It was wonderful. Could not say a bad thing about it. The food was yummy. The staff were so friendly and pleasant. The cafe was clean and very homely. It was a lovely lunch and can't wait to go back. Thank you

Often eat here with a group of friends. Classic road side cafe. Fresh cooked food, good value, pleasant staff. It does what it says on the tin!

I attend the Priory Cafe quite a bit when visiting family. The food is excellent and the home made items are lovely and much better than a standard cafe. The service is a bit hit and miss depending on who serves you. If the owner serves you then you are in very safe hands. They do have a tendancy not to listen and forget to butter bread, all very minor things. I have not been impressed when they handle money and then making your sandwich without washing their hands, again the younger staff. All in all very good and a great cafe.
