Absolutely dreadful. Nobody on the till, staff out of sight in kitchen. Tables were dirty, there was no cutlery or even teaspoons. When cutlery was eventually brought out the pieces I selected were still dirty. Self service hot drinks machine wasn't working, had to ask staff to add coffee beans. No cups, had to ask staff in kitchen. Found a teapot but was dirty. Food was lukewarm and still no teaspoons so my friend stirred her tea with a fork. I've never known anything like it, an absolute shambles.

The only place locally that does egg and soldiers! It’s a standard supermarket cafe but the menu is extensive and the eggs a treat and excellent value. Wouldn’t go for a leisurely brunch but when I fancy this option it’s a solid and good value choice!

The poor service at the cafe has now extended to the supermarket check out area. This is not the first Sunday morning that we have experienced this level of queueing at the check out. I can understand there being some occasions when they may be short staffed but this morning was at a different level with no management in evidence. Many people abandoned trolleys and left the store. We will not visit this store again on a Sunday for coffee or our shopping.

Thank goodness they got rid of the ridiculous system of the ordering point requiring a table number for the meal order, now you just take a number. I ordered “Ultimate” fish and chips with garden peas as it was too late for breakfast. It took 29 minutes to come out, and in that time, I’d only seen 2 or 3 meals come out, there were a dozen people seated at most. A couple of people had gone up to query when their meal would come. I’m not sure what was “ultimate” about it, the fish was relatively small, and lukewarm, the chips were also only warm, but the garden peas stone cold. By now, I was so hungry, I’d have eaten anything. A shame, as I’ve had a couple of decent breakfasts here.

If you need a speedy fish and chips mid-afternoon it's not that easy .The cafe at Morrisons is a decent size clean, acceptable, and more importantly, serves cooked food when many others are closed.Its worth bearing in mind when in the area.

Yesterday (19/08/22) i took our 87 years old neighbour to the Bromsgrove store to do her weekly shop as usual. She is very able for her age but does have macular degeneration so struggles to see detail. As usual she finished with a coffee in the cafe. The service was terrible ... no one on the till for 10 mins, the bell not working (and not very audible when it is). Eventually she had to go into the kitchen to find three members of staff 'having a nice chat'... She then got her coffee ... I then joined her and asked for a coffee too ... was told to help myself and someone would take the money. No one did. So from both viewpoints this this is very poor . This is not the first time either - the team really needs sorting out / training ... there should be someone on the till at all busy times and a bell / buzzer that works and responded to as a priority .... simple fixes, win win

Visited here on the way down to Bristol. We'd got drinks from the machine on the counter and both were flat. The area where you got cutlery was half empty, no milk available. Had to ask a member of staff for some milk. Hardly any napkins available. Our table wasn't that clean. I had to clear under the floor of the table and the chair I sat at as there was food on it. The floor looked like coffee grounds had been spilt on it. I got the impression they were short staffed. I feel there should have been some managers in the cafe helping. However, the food was lovely.

I liked the service. Cafe staffs are friendly. Coffee was good. Didn’t try anything else but cakes were tempting. Tables were clean.

Popped in for a quick lunch, ordered 3 adult meals and 1 baby meal. 40 mins to arrive!!!!!!! Mine a bfast, was cold, missing black pud and egg swimming in grease. Took it back, was told she'd get me a refund, I said I wanted a replacement as wasn't going to sit there with the rest of family eating..... Back in 5 mins, still missing black pud and cold toast, yaaaaaaay!!!!!!! Not again! Loosing the will to live, ate half the deep fried sausage half a piece of cold toast and left the pathetic excuse for bacon.... Won't be going again!!!!!!!!!! I'd only go again if I were ordering fresh air!

Who ever decided it was a good idea to play very loud music constantly really should be taken outside and shot. It is so loud you cannot hear what the person next to you is saying. By the time you leave you will have a thumping headache. Majority of staff rude and have no manners. Unable to get down aisles due to cages left unattended by staff Queuing for over 30 min to be served when there are many tills that could be safely opened. Produce 9n display past there best. Whole store untidy and unkempt.

Its been a couple of years since we last ate here, mainly due to the poor service and long waits for the meals to be delivered to the table. I am glad to report much improvement in this area. The breakfasts are really good, and looking around very popular. Having used high street coffee shops most mornings recently the low prices here are a real shock. Covid measures were good and there was plenty a space between tables. I wont leave it so long before returning again.

It's rare you get a breakfast of this quality anywhwere let alone a supermarket cafe. The choice of food is very extensive so you can order a breakfast in virtually any combination you wish. Our bacon was cooked perfectly as was the egg, mushrooms, tomatoes and even the toast! The service was quick and friendly too, though it was first thing in the morning.

Had to hold my nose the toilets were so smelly , we were told that serviettes were on ration and only one each . Slow service in the Cafe .what a mess .

popped in on my way home from work purely as on way as never shop here. Then I was reminded why! Wats going on with the fresh produce?!?! Cucumbers were all bendy, tomatoes were ridiculously soft, peppers all wrinkled! I honestly cudnt believe wat I was seeing! literally exited as quick as I entered! All of it needed throwing away! Iv written to the head office as was so shocked! Totally unacceptable!!!

This is a very clean modern store with an excellent range of top range products and fresh meats, fish and and bakery produce. Everything about the store shows a professional attitude to store management and customer service. Long opening hours, excellent free parking, cash machines, a dry cleaners, shoe repair and key services, and a great cafe. Happy to recommend.

I took my disabled mother for lunch. No one on the hot food counter so we had to order at the till, I tried three coffee cups and they were all filthy, no avocados for the chicken and avocado salad (Really? This is a supermarket with dozens), surly till operator who told us proudly there was a 30 minutes wait for food. I told him to cancel the lot and we went elsewhere.

This shop I use most of all I find it has all that you need good quality products.good friendly staff very helpful.it also has a pharmacy for your health needs.i recommend the BROMSGROVE store.

Prices in the cafe are good but it seriously needs a good clean. Our table was filthy and looked like it hadn't been cleaned thoroughly for quite a while. Not often I use antibac before and after using a cafe! The toilets were also in need of a good clean despite the cleaning schedule being signed as clean only 30 minutes earlier. No loo roll in dispensers just a few part used rolls lying about, flush not working. They need to visit their Evesham branch for some training!

I called here for a late lunch, but was so late that I was able to take advantage of the evening offer; a good plate of fish, chips and peas, plus a pot of tea, all for just £6. The restaurant has been refurbished since my last visit to a Morriison's café so there are now comfortable chairs and tables instead of the rigid seating of the past. The fish wasn't best cod, but it was perfectly adequate, especially when you take into account how much you are paying.

Had a breakfast here. The food is good and hot with friendly staff. The price is extremely cheap, no grumbles here!

May be a supermarket but super service wiy=th food that is basic but cheap and the atmosphere is buzzing, really wrth a visit

We called at the cafe for breakfast after staying locally. I waited at the ordering point several minutes and nobody appeared, so went to the payment till only to be told that this was were orders were taken! Very confusing signage!

We have had breakfast here many times, if there is plenty of staff on you can get served quickly to a nice well cooked breakfast. Sadly most of the time lately there is only 1 person taking orders, bringing food out and clearing tables. Items were missed off our order and toast was either burnt or soggy. Staff are overworked and miserable. Bad management!

I arranged to meet a friend here for coffee. When I arrived at 5.15 there was one one in the cafe. There were no customers and no staff members. After a few minutes a lady emerged from the back and I asked for a coffee. It was a do it yourself job. You pay at the till, take a mug and go to a machine and.press a button, My coffee emerged luke warm. Whilst I was paying for the coffee a couple came and wanted to order hot food. There was no hot food available. They were put out and asked where they could go and were directed to KFC down the road.

The cafe at Bromsgrove Morrisons offers a patchy service dependant on who's on duty.

Those who have used other Morrisons cafes will know what to expect, good value in a relaxed environment. The cooked breakfasts are always good and very popular.

An average Morrison's just a five minute drive from Bromsgrove High Street. You would expect to see an average Morrison's here as well as the café. Prices are low. Food is decent.

Popped in here with good mate 'Wina before heading to the Artrix for a film. As early diners we benefited from the meal and a drink offer, food was served promptly by a lovely friendly waitress who because Wina's first 2 choices had run out, allowed us to have the meal & drink offer on an excluded menu item, food good and hot and tasty! I've since noticed that our Redditch Morrisons cafe has had an upgrade with a really great looking menu so look out for a review on that shortly. It was great for simple food that satisfied our hunger and got us on our way.

Lots of choice for breakfast and lunch, and very good value for money. Served quickly too. The cooked breakfasts are particularly good

New decor of Morrisons Cafe looks good. We ordered two big breakfasts and scrambled eggs on toast. Pretty good breakfast, well made. Loved the new kids selection items so baby could have a mini sandwich without having to spend a lot more which would have been wasted.

For a quick and varied meal while shopping can't be beaten. Although you can have a bit of a wait in busy periods, service is very efficient

This is a little gem for anyone who has never tried their breakfast specials.

We quite often eat at Morrisons Cafes at various stores and they are pretty reliable. We enjoy their huge fish and chips and lovely breakfasts. This, however, was a disappointment. The staff were disinterested, the cutlery was dirty, the music was intrusive and the food ?. We tried the roast beef dinner for £5.00, we have had much better value elsewhere. The whole meal appeared "plasticy", it was quite a small portion and all obviously frozen. There was no mustard, mint sauce or any other condiment apart from salt and vinegar. This experience may be unique to Bromsgrove but we will be reluctant to try elsewhere.
