We had a lovely Sunday roast for a family birthday. For starters we had beetroot falafel, honey roast fig and creamy blue cheese mushrooms on toast - all lovely. Roast beef and mixed roast (beef, chicken & pork) for mains which were really good. We’re quite picky/hard to impress with roast dinners out but it was fab. Beef was very pink and tender and the veg was done really nicely too, we all really enjoyed it. Kids had sausage/fish fingers and chips…they have kids roasts and pasta etc on the menu too. We were too full for puddings (kids had ice cream) but we had brought a small birthday cake and the staff really kindly turned off the lights and brought the cake and candles out singing Happy Birthday which was lovely of them. The bill was reasonable for the quality too. Overall, we were really impressed with both the food and service - we will definitely be back!

Dropped in for lunch. What a find! Staff were friendly and efficient. Food was just right: all-day breakfast options plus larger lunch dishes. Good coffee. Cakes and pastries looked delicous, but we did not have room. Clean premises (including good loos). Child friendly. Dog friendly. Plenty of seating indoors and out, plenty of car parking. Convenient for National Trust Great Chalfield Manor, and not too far from The Courts Garden or from busy Bradford-on-Avon.

Tutis, which it’s now called after its fabulous owner, is a delightful cozy family owned Indian restaurant. Food was fresh, super tasty but not too heavy and the restaurant itself stylish and lovely and clean with a good feel! Asked for somewhere warm when I booked and we were popped by the heater, nice touch! When we left I had to give Tuti a hug because he was SUCH a nice man! We’ve found our go-to favourite Indian restaurant when we come to Bradford on Avon and will be back to see you Tuti for sure! We’d highly recommend!

This little gem is tucked away down a little road north of the A36 between Frome and Bath, so you wouldn't happen upon it by chance. We are fairly local so we know it and sometimes pop into the café if we've been walking along the river the dog nearby. The beautiful Iford Manor has been a dwelling since the late 15th Century, but the present façade was built around 1725. The manor sits in the magnificent Grade 1 listed Peto Gardens. The coffee shop is are always busy, and for good reason: the menus are varied, giving plenty of choice for alternative diets, they are affordable, and delicious. One of the things that stands out for us is that the staff are unfailingly friendly and helpful; the lady taking the orders behind the till is amazing: she is totally unflappable, completely calm and very friendly and welcoming - despite not having a second to stop and breathe. One small point that people may not notice is that she always recaps the order to the customer, thereby ensuring no-one comes back saying I didn't get this, or you forgot that. Another thing is the amazing home made sourdough bread: the first time I came I remember having the cheese burger, which was delicious. We love this coffee shop. You must visit: you won't be disappointed!

The only issue with the Hop Pole is - will it get too popular! Nearly mage me not review and keep it to myself! But it has to be recognised as one of the best Sunday lunches I have ever had in a pub (obviously home is different!) From the decor and ambiance to the service and the food - faultless Well Done all involved.
