The best restaurants serving Default food in Bratton Fleming North Devon South West

Another super supper at The New Inn, always something new and seasonal to try. The pork fillet stroganoff gets a special mention.

This is not pub food. Best meal of our holiday in a friendly, well run inn. Venison pie was lovely. Also catered well for 2 vegans in the group. The kids had a quiet corner to play in so everyone was happy. Wish we’d discovered it at the start of the holiday so we could go back.

Offering a range of real coffees from the van. Small seating area. Great coffee and reasonably priced.

Only popped in for a pint but was very busy at lunch time so must be pretty decent

Okay place to go, prices are high though but that’s only cause there’s nothing else about in Bratton Fleming village. It’s rather a BORING town if you ask me 😔

We loved the grounds and museums, but the tea room was really not at all good. Apart from being a very uninspiring space with not much atmosphere, I waited in a queue for over half an hour while three people behind the counter deliberated over one transaction, as I waited I watched as very quickly most of the menu was struck off, so it was down to sandwiches or a bowl of chilli con carne. I managed to get the last two! There seems to be a complete dumbing down of all the NT restaurants, just serving mediocre food. Come on NT you can and should be doing better!!

It’s just not managed very well at all. If you use it when it is quite then, it’s cheap and cheerful, but if there are more than 8 people in. They switch off the order stations to stop you ordering. A 45 minutes wait for fish finger wraps because 7 people had ordered before. Not a clue how to organize the kitchen, and generally a couldn’t care less attitude.
