The best restaurants serving Default food in Purewell and Stanpit Christchurch South West

Purchased the breakfast burrito and was amazed at how it tasted and the amount you got for your money's worth. Was very delicious and will purchase again

Visited today for first time after reading good reviews and thought I would try. Was quite disappointed. Staff were welcoming and prices not bad, ordered two fish 1 chips and a pea fritter. The fish was nice but chip’s awful,think they were reheated from lunch time as they were very crispy and lots of little bits . Not one chip could you bite into like a proper potato chip.The pea fritter was nice but lukewarm not hot in the slightest.Will give this place one more try and will not get there to close to opening time encase I have lunchtime reheated chips again.

Had our first indian take away Saturday from Kashmir, Purewall near Christchurch. Went traditional and it didn't disappoint. Was delicious. Wish I found this place earlier. May try dining in next time. Small but very quaint. Thank you Kashmir. We enjoyed your food very much 👍

Not very good at all Peshwari nan awful undercooked and stodgy , sag aloo just potatoes with a little spinach no spice and Ceylon curry tasteless with tough chicken and half a lemon ! Very disappointing after reading previous reviews which I doubt are genuine

Bruschetta arrived without the tomatoes, sad

I took my granddaughter (GD) to lunch on 8th April and we had the 2 course menu. The chicken wing starter was very good but the king prawn starter was a very small portion of only 3 prawns. We had the wok-fried chicken and the wok-fried king prawns for mains. They were OK - but not worthy of praise - and the base of vegetables was not dissimilar. However near the end of the meal my GD champed on what she thought was a small stone and chipped a tooth swallowing it all, and about 30 seconds later I bit on what I thought was a bit of grit. My GD, who is 27, cried because of the damage and unsightliness and whilst I didn't make much of a complaint, when I brushed my teeth that night I found a chunk of tooth in my mouth measuring 7mm x 4mm - which I have retained. When I went to pay I reported things to the receptionist who in turn reported it to the kitchen staff and then made a reduction from the bill. We think that the stone and grit was in the similar vegetable mix as it wasn't in the prawns or chicken which were eaten. I have eaten with my family in this restaurant in the past and the food was fine and it was a pleasant experience. It is unfortunate that the restaurant doesn't have an email address allowing me to write to them more fully - hence I have felt compelled to write a review for the benefit of future diners. David

A cosy atmosphere, the best of the prezzos! The loviest staff with delicious food and beautiful decorations. Such a shame it is closing, it will be surely missed, has always been the one to go to for birthdays and special occasions! Thank you to Jane and all the staff.

Food was cold chips looked like yesterdays had 2 drivers 1with food other bring my can of coke witch got there 1st never again very disappointed stuck it in bin
