Our 3rd visit to this restaurant. The food as always was excellent, the staff are very friendly, and the service is good. Definitely would recommend.

Always freshly cooked. Just decent fish and chips. Good staff. Good value kids meals. Fried chicken is really good.

We went on a very busy Sunday which meant a reduced menu. Considering how busy it was, they did a fairly good job. Food let them down slightly though, unfortunately. Soggy pastry in the mushroom wellington, and a few plates came out missing things. Overall a nice pub though.

Had smoked chicken it’s soooo dry even my dogs struggled to eat it. Definitely unpleasant every thing was looking pre owned or reheated ,, not nice

Worst Chinese I’ve ever visited. Chicken didn’t taste like chicken, ribs were inedible. Didn’t bother with a main course

We are two friends who go for Sunday lunch every few weeks & try to find a new venue each time. The Papermakers Arms is one the Wrinkly Munchers will definitely visit again. Great, peaceful country atmosphere, friendly & attentive staff without being pushy. Reasonably priced & excellent food. We chose the roast beef and the beef bourguignon; both of which were delicious & perfectly presented. Apple crumble to follow was perfect. Not a huge menu (which I think is a plus as it indicates freshly prepared rather than microwave reheat) but good choice of locally sourced & seasonal food.

Very nice hotel and clean room. Nice large tv. Hotel could use updated but very large hotel but very friendly. Biggest disappointment was no lift.

Rude staff, apparently can only read half the notes??? Hopefully the driver that came tonight gets sacked, I did find it amusing as he got flashed by the speed camera as he drove off.

Missing items from order! No response from emails! Do not order from here! This is not the first time they have missed items from the order but decided to give them a second chance!
