The best restaurants serving Default food in Ringwood East and Sopley New Forest South East

My second visit. Wish I lived nearer to visit regularly. A lovely menu in Charlotte’s tea rooms for lighter lunches so reasonably priced and delightful staff. Love the garden centre. The inside shop is, unlike most garden centres, very reasonably priced - it’s an Aladdins Cave! I must go back there - never mind the 50 minute drive!!!!

Enjoyed a lovely lunch in the garden, couldn’t fault food or service. Great playground, very dog friendly.

One word. Amazing!!! Just checked in today and in love with the view from my room. They left chocolates and cards for my special day. Loved the host

I was a little disappointed with this place. The food was great, and the service was faultless. However, the pub itself lacks atmosphere. It's clearly a sports pub, and the interior decor reflects that. I was expecting something a little more cosy and maybe a little more eclectic as this is an old Thatched Pub. The website photos mainly show the separate wedding venue building and the bar. The setting is lovely, though. It definitely seemed to be more popular with men who appeared to be regulars. We were the only two women there at the time! It is dog friendly, which is a big plus!

Superb freshly cooked food - the best pub food we have had in ages. The specials were great and even nicer to see was some very special Easter desserts on offer. Keep doing what you are doing!

We called in to the Elm tree on Saturday as it looked a lovely place for lunch. The waitress was very friendly and welcoming but the food was very disappointing. The ‘Caesar’ salad had miles too much dressing making it too acidy to enjoy and the extra chicken on it was extremely dry. The basic burger was also dry, small and charred on one side. The chips were nice! Not sure we’ll bother again despite the pleasant ambiance.

Delicious food and super efficient and friendly service. In particular plenty of well cooked vegetables, sourced locally we were informed. Our Lunch club will definitely visit again.

I last visited the Woolpack when it was under the old ownership in fact left a very positive review last time but on my latest visit under new ownership I was left very disappointed the Sunday lunch was just OK Pork quite dry vegetables not great 1 piece of cauliflower (really) and exspensive for what it was it used to be a more of a traditional Sunday lunch with plenty of vegetables and meat done to a T and good value I appreciate prices have needed to rise a bit please offer good value for money, on a final note the service was very good very attentive.
