The best restaurants serving Default food in Barming Maidstone South East

Food was lovely, staff were really friendly had a play area for the kids which was really nice. Was our first time there and would defaitnly go back

Myself and my friend popped in for a coffee before walking along the river . At the end of the walk we popped in again for a light lunch. Very tasty tomato & basil soup and ciabatta. The staff and atmosphere were very friendly and prices were good.

Used to be the best Chinese, I’d have recommended it every time but the last 3-4 I’ve had have been virtually inedible. Freezing cold and dry (live barely a 5 min drive away), barely cooked chow mein (onions raw etc). Gross. Really have let their standards slip. Won’t bother again

Having used this restaurant several times over the years I found that the service has diminished there’s not much Chinese about the place modern pop music instead of it used to be calm Chinese music and although the price has increased the portions were much smaller we had 6 x fixed menu the crispy duck barely g as be us 2 portions of wraps in fact the duck ran out before the wraps which was usually the other way round there was 6 prawns on the prawn dish 1 each. There was not £30 worth of food per portion.

If you're walking in the country park then this is a very good place to stop for a coffee. The lady serving was very friendly and helpful. The coffee was freshly made and was good. Cakes, crisps and biscuits were also available and there is also a table where you can sit and take a rest.

First time we had visited for a while. So glad we did. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent food. We both had steak and ale pie which was very tasty and very welcome on a freezing day. Could only manage to share a dessert, orange and passion fruit cheesecake. Again excellent. Don’t think we’ll be leaving it so long to return!
