We had prawn biriyani and lamb curry recommendation by the staff, mild spicy so that our baby can also eat with us. Ordered fries on the side with garlic naan and a paratha. They served a vegetable curry on the side on their own accord. The meal was absolutely delicious, just not enough for the heart to get full. Staff were very polite and sweet. Got a total bill of approx 50£ and were served chocolate (mint) with it along with hot wipes. Fantastic for desi food. Highly recommended!

Very agreeable space, smart and well appointed, with superb views, freshly cooked food and a lovely owner. Steak was cooked exactly as requested, beautifully served. Tarte tatin "to die for". Kedgeree fishcakes of gorgeous texture and flavour. Altogether, a great experience. We are returning for a pre-Christmas dinner. A real find, I think....

Been living on the Isle of Wight for 6 years now and we went for a walk with family and decided to have lunch , we all agreed on on fish and chips and have to say it’s the best I’ve had on the island , lovely freshly caught fish and you could tell it’s cooked perfectly and very generous lovely indeed took me straight back to the 70s when I was a kid and my mum used to get the large filets from the fish monger for our Saturday treat homemade fish and chips .

My Mother and Father , Dorotht and Bryan Catt used to own The Ventnor Towers Hotel back when I was a little girl. I used to play in it in the off season when there were no visitors. It was and always will be my Fairy tale Castile. My parents built the house next door and the swimming pool. My sisters used to play tennis and the croquet and golf course was always in use . My Father was a very talented man musically so there was a lot of wonderful cabarets full of dancing and singing , and I remember my sisters wedding day when she had the dinning room full of family and friends. Mummy also made everything wonderful with her many talents, one being making the bar downstairs look like a Thatched cottage. I miss those days of dreaming wish I could go back , wish it was mine again.

Nice spot, lovely staff but!! Building in need of updating, and the food is of very low quality, and overpriced, also waited a long time and then part of the order we placed was not ordered by the staff member taking orders! This is a historic venue but sadly it was probably at its best in 1965 😢
