The best restaurants serving Default food in Horsham South East

Met up for a major catch up with a very special friend. I had the fishcakes with spinach & poached eggs with hollandaise sauce - it was simply marvellous - so so tasty it was deffo the special on the specials board. Then went with the recommendation of tiramisu - we didn’t talk just ate in wonder silence! Great service & friendly owner but truely wonderful food. Please don’t go as want to be able to get a table at lunchtime! Once visited you will go back. Excellent selection of vegetarian food at all times.

Early 60th afternoon tea, everything was perfect !! Venue, music, hosts, we will be back and what a gem of a place., highly recommend. Thank you both for a lovely afternoon, we will be recommending.

We had a blow-out meal for two for less than £30. Everything was freshly prepared and delicious. I recommend the beetroot salad with pomegranate. There is plenty of choice for vegetarians but the chicken was nice too.

We popped to Carfax for some lunch and found Steak Expectations. The steak was amazing, there were various options of toppings / sauces and the chap serving was very friendly and pleasant. We would definitely recommend!

What a great find today, (the sign at St Josephs works!) just annoyed I didn't know about it before - Definitely make sure Gerston Farm is on my walk/cycle route next time I'm in Storrington. All the best guys

First time of calling into the cafe/ shop with a friend, quite busy and certainly off the beaten track, friendly service, good selection of rolls and sandwiches, the coffee was very good and I can recommend the bacon roll, now I know where it is I will definitely call again.

Would recommend this place, food and presentation very good with friendly and helpful staff. The outside is attractive and welcoming , the inside is attractive comfortable and clean

This is a regular for myself & a friend on our dog walks good coffee, food & doggie sausage. Can sit inside if wet but out side is beautiful right at the base of the downs. Can’t wait for it to open this year. Not long now

This Coffee Roaster is run by very professional and friendly people. I have visited several times and their coffee is amazing, I would strongly recommend here if your a coffee lover.

I am 60 yrs old and have just had the best chorizo bbq burger in my life. Fantastic. Get there before he closes tonight.

Situated in a small business park, nestled in the South Downs, I visit this cafe several times a month. A very good menu, with a warm welcome, indoor and outdoor seating and pets welcome. Open weekdays until 2pm

Great warm/hot food, sandwiches & drinks. Take away only but well worth it. Highly recommend their sausage rolls (vegan or real sausage meat)

After out 4th visit I decided to add this cafe into Tripadvisor. We have a son and his family living in Sweden and so are familiar with the Swedish love of 'fika' - coffee and cakes. This cafe is run be a Swedish lady, resident in England, who bakes in-house the most delectable Swedish (and occasional English) sweet delights (and the coffee is excellent also). You can also but to take home.

My partner and I have ordered food from Ginger Rookes a couple of times throughout the pandemic. Without a shadow of a doubt the BEST food we've eaten this year. Ran by the a super chill & friendly guy who is king of the bbq, we can't get enough of his amazing food and generous portion sizes. The ribs in particular are something else. Can't recommend highly enough.

Just had a lovely chilli and jacket spud meal with my friend, really delicious and filling, would definitely recommend. The cakes looked lovely and yummy too
