The best restaurants serving Default food in Northgate Crawley South East

The staff at Kitchen Royale are always a pleasure to deal with, from the friendly phone call to the warm welcome inside. Their chicken madras was absolutely delicious. they're definitely our go-to curry house in Crawley.

All I can say is that without doubt this was the best fish & chips I’ve ever eaten. The batter on the fish was crispy and not at all greasy. The fish itself was certainly large and perfectly cooked. It was beautifully light and tender and tasted delicious. The chips were also excellent with just the right amount of crispness and with a fluffy texture inside. They were also not too greasy. All in all I can’t recommend The Northgate Fish Bar highly enough 😋

My partner and I came across this place today. We were greeted as soon as we came in, very friendly service! Food came out quickly and was a generous portion. Very tasty! The chef came out to check everything was ok. The owner explained the plans going forward and they sound great. We will definitely be back :)

Spotlessly clean, friendly staff, smashed burger meal was outstanding freshly cooked food piping hot excellent quality ingredients, great value would definitely recommend

Lovely café. Freshly made paninis & baguettes to order. Fab coffee. Large portions of everything. Clean & fresh air. Such a lovely escape from the mall & great value too. Very impressed.

It is just as well that I made a table booking, as on a Friday night this place was jam-packed. From what I saw many patrons were there just for the cocktails. I ordered a mocktail, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The food was good,even though I was not after a huge meal.

Decided to try out this place. Good location, clean inside and lots of choice. Ordered two house burgers and sadly they were a let down. They were completely flavourless, no seasoning and cooked so dry, chips were ok but again not great.

This Italian restaurant is located in the centre of Crawley. There is normally a lunchtime offer, but this did not apply on the Sunday when we visited. It has a large and pleasant interior with friendly and efficient staff. I had duck and my partner had a salmon dish, both came with vegetables. We very much enjoyed our lunch.

First of all table of 10 booked then failed to contact us for the deposit so they cancelled the booking. First one to arrive said they were struggling to find the booking . Just after your money. Told us we had table for 2 hours then told us during starter that we had to be out in 45 minutes! Never have I had food come out so quick and already taking plates when others were still eating! Not sure food is cooked from fresh as the main was ready before we had even finished starters. Manager was totally unprofessional and argued with my friend that ordered the table in front of everyone then even had the audacity to bring the bill with service charge where they should have deducted money as one of our party was given uncooked chicken. Never will go to this restaurant again!

Racist Kismet? Utter psycho babble ,I’m white and I have been going to Kismet for over 20years and have always been greeted with a smile Welcomed and always left satisfied with the service and food .From what I remember their have always dealt with drunks and small minded idiots very well.

Best food in Crawley, yes they get busy and yes they can only cater for so many but what do you expect? It’s the best food around there will be demand

Really good, friendly, unpretentious coffee and sandwich cafe. Also a charity/vintage shop. We had a good coffee and toastie. The staff looked liked they cared. Funky little cafe and shop! A real difference in a world of template cafes.

Very friendly staff as they are from Brazil and Portugal but live in the UK for over 20 years. Seems many Portuguese speaking customers as well as English are here for breakfast and lunch. I came a few times as I tried English Breakfast and their daily changing Meal of the Day! Good Breakfast with hot plate (a plus); and the two different “meal of the day” I had is Combined Stewed Chicken Drums and Ribs in Black Bean Sauce and another one is Fried Chicken Breast with Bean Sauce. The first one mentioned was the best. Chicken Breast was okay. Their coffee is hit and tasty too!
