This is a really good place for brunch. I had the fish hash and it was so tasty. Great vibe in the restaurant. And it’s dog friendly

We had breakfast after staying in the premier inn over the road. Our server was Shelia - so friendly and welcoming! Nothing was too much for her! Also she was brilliant with our children and one step of us at times with what we needed. Thank you so much she is credit to the restaurant!

We've e been this morning for breakfast with Sheila as our waitress and had another wonderful experience. Sheila is attentive, helpful, friendly and welcoming. The food is hot and cooked to order, if you you want a hot plate. The continental is available and stocked well, if its not there, it's not to much trouble for what you want to be found. The restaurant is clean and organised. Our middle son has complex learning disabilities and this is a place that we've found can and will accommodate his needs and doesn't judge on his needs or behaviours. We don't have many places we can go as a family, but this is one. The value for money is great and the atmosphere always pleasant. We booked in advance, was seated quickly and our orders taken in a great time too. There were a few walk ons for breakfast when we were there and Sheila was accommodating, welcoming and happy to see them too. I would highly recommend the woolpack and will return in the near future. Never been here before pulled in on the off chance on a Saturday afternoon fantastic welcome by the landlady. My wife had a Ploughman. I had a ham, egg and chips. My wife said it was the best PLANS she’d ever had and my ham and chips was spot on give it a try you won’t be disappointed and great value for money.

(Update May 2025 Their Pizzas are stunning, collected two yesterday and it was fantastic. Properly run place, thanks everyone.) Nice place, one of the few places that will deliver to us out in the sticks. Wife loves the fish, I loved the donner pizza.

Myself and 3 Biker mates visited yesterday and were impressed by the changes made to the place. Full of interesting Motoring memorabilia for all Petrolheads everywhere! The young staff were friendly and attentive as well as being highly efficient in their jobs. The breakfast is at the top of the price range at £11.95, but it was cooked beautifully and the ingredients top notch. Great Coffee too! We had a great time and will certainly return. An excellent Bikers retreat!

Such a beautiful country pub with a lovely calm and friendly atmosphere. The food is amazing and we will definitely be back soon. Highly recommended especially the roast on a Sunday and this place is absolutely worth a visit. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. Really felt at home.

Can't say much about it as it was Closed! Staying at Holiday Inn, we thought it would be nice to pop across for a drink. All in darkness. Went back to the hotel where they informed us it had been "closed for months". Maybe it might be a good idea to put a sign on the door saying as such! We walked down the road to the Beefeater and had a few drinks there instead.....
