First time at this cafe. I ordered a black coffee, a coke and Traditional Eggs Benedict. The cafe was busy which shows how popular it is. The food was amazing. The eggs were cooked to perfection and were nice and runny. The bacon was also perfect. Not salty at all like some bacon. I’m always weary about ordering eggs Benedict as sometimes it’s not cooked properly and the sauce is tasteless, but not here. I actually wanted to lick the plate to get all the sauce. I will definitely be back xx

The Best and biggest thali in Manchester I was lucky enough to be one of the first to see the new lacim prior known as Vedic which is under new management with an upcoming refreshed new menu + name known for its delicious, authentic South Indian dishes with both vegan and vegetarian options, praised for its quality, freshness, and attentive service. The restaurant's spirit lives on in the newly established Laxmi Vegetarian and Vegan Indian Cuisine. The food is "beautifully presented" and of high quality, even appealing to meat-eaters which my parents can vouch We tried their infamous Thali - a great choice if you can’t decide from the extensive menu to try abit of everything which consisted of : Pani puri hollow sphere with mint Bhel puri puffed rice chaat Dahi puri and Sev puri potatoes, chickpeas, onions, tomatoes ,chutneys Veg samosas Onion Bhaji Jackfruit curry Aubergine curry Chickpea Chana masala Tofu muglihar onion gravy Tamatar Vindi tomato okra Saag aloo spinach Dosa Naan Chips Rice Paired with Papadam Chutney tray which was delicious pre meal appetiser Plus their speciality sizzlers Tandoori broccoli + mushrooms Beetroot Manchurian and Aloo gobi cauliflower Served over Veg stir fry Overall a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience , everything was super fresh and loved the exciting dishes it also does take away to enjoy from home , I can’t wait to return and try their new dishes

We recently attended a wedding at Oaklands Hall. The staff are excellent here, they go out of their way to ensure you have a great experience. The 3 course meal was delicious and the staff were attentive and brought water when needed, they replenished the wine promptly and cleared everything away in good time. The buffet later on was also lovely, including some yummy chips which a lot of buffets don’t do but were very welcome. The toilets are modern and clean and no issues with lack of paper, nice little basket of toiletries too. The room is a good size and bright. If you were booking a wedding here in the summer you might be put off by the lack of outside space as it’s just the car park but it wasn’t an issue for the wedding we attended. I would say book your function here and you won’t be disappointed. The MC is very friendly and happy to help with any queries.

Staff member with dark hair and tattoos was SO rude to me today for absolutely no reason whatsoever. I politely asked if my drink definitely had an espresso shot in as it tasted really weak/like milk. She sarcastically responded to my question by saying ‘it’s a latte’. When I asked for an extra shot she basically started arguing with me about it and then started making me another drink whilst laughing with the other girl behind the counter. I told her I wasn’t trying to be awkward and there’s no need to be rude. Her reaction was as though I’d insulted her personally - embarrassing.
