Great food only downfall is no delivery service but food was great best chinese I've had for a while had a special curry 👌

It's rubbish stay away (Just trying to keep the queues down. Although to be fair you do get served quite quickly) Food is really tasty

New to the area, thought I'd give this place a try earlier on tonight... 16th March 2024. Disappointed is an understatement! Extremely stingy portions of meat in all our food. I opted for the house special chow mein, and counted 2 king prawns, 2 small pieces of pork, 2 small pieces of boiled chicken, and 2 small bits of the beef, which is very unsatisfactory. My wife had a chicken chow main, and we counted 4 small bits of chicken in the whole thing, yet absolutely packed full with water chestnuts, bamboo shoots and beansprouts. We bought a portion of shredded beef to share too, and there was about 3 pieces of actual shredded beef inside the entire tub, it was litterally just empty crunchy batter, that was spat out and binned. Obviously won't be going back, and would advise others to take their business elsewhere, somewhere where you won't be conned like we were.

Chinese food is the best we’ve had. 4 stars due to not being much options for children, should offer children’s meals like most Chinese takeaways. Chicken nuggets aren’t nice, really bad processed chicken and my daughter won’t even eat them. Also portions are small for the price.

Best salt and pepper chips I've ever had

Kung po chicken. Food was raw. Simply poured sauce over uncooked ingredients. Never again.

I ordered the King Prawn Chowmein and fish & chips. However, the portions seemed a bit small for the price, with only six pieces of prawns included. Despite that, everything was freshly cooked and tasted delicious. I would recommend trying the chippy. I'm giving it three stars mainly because it only accepts cash and the portions are slightly smaller compared to other nearby establishments.

Sat 14 October 23 18.15 Just had sausage and chips. Fresh and tasty. In fact I ate the chips in under 2 minutes they were that nice The dog and I had a sausage each. We both devoured it lol Top marks for this great chipshop.

Best Chinese food we’ve ever tasted.. it’s definitely fresher ingredients and not packed with as much salt as the others! You can definitely taste the difference. Ps the salt and pepper noodles are to die for!!

We really wanted to try this chippy out and we really enjoyed. We shared the chips, sausages and chicken nuggets and enjoyed them all. Friendly and very clean. Can’t wait to have it again or maybe try something different

OMG! This has got to be one of the best Chinese take aways we have had! Please try it! Service is super prompt, staff are delightfully pleasant, the food is just gorgeous and its very fairly priced. Definitely in my top 5 places to get a take away!!

We have been firm fans of this take away, after it was taken over. Food always lovely , no grease in sight BUT tonight we were very disappointed. Rice was tasteless.. The duck dish was full of of fat...most went in bin... A mid week treat, not happy....but at £23 Iam so disappointed.. Will be a while before we come back....

Put an order in got my order got home something missing called the shop and said they will bring it within 5 minutes it was there. The food we got was 10 out 10 even our picky son was more than happy with is fish and chips highly recommended

Finally a local Chinese takeaway serving fresh delicious food which isn’t full of grease. The chicken is also halal which is fantastic. We throughly enjoyed everything we ordered. Really great prices and main meals come with rice and chips.

Decided to see why people were queuing half way down the road - I now know why. Had the set meal for 3 and everything was spot on. Phoned the order through and on arrival the friendly and efficient staff had everything ready. Will defo be ordering again. Thank you for one the best Chinese meals we have had in a long time

Best Chinese takeaway I’ve had in a long time! Me and a friend got the salt and paper box to share with sweet & sour sauce. Everything was fresh and tasted divine.. sometimes with salt and pepper boxes they can be a little ‘steamy’ but this was delicious & the sweet and sour sauce was excellent. Will definitely be a regular from now on & absolutely recommend. One of the best Chinese takeaways in Hyde.

Au Yeung was a hard act to follow, but Chung's have done it! Special Kung po & fried rice was delish!

The successor to Au-Yeung's on Mottram Road, Chung's possesses a fresh & clean interior, friendly staff and, most importantly, stunning food. Their Chicken Fried Rice may well be the finest I've ever had.
