I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lana Thai Food in Oldham and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience. This cozy little restaurant offers a fantastic selection of traditional Thai dishes that are sure to satisfy any food lover's cravings. This pub is probably the best in Lees and Uppermill / Greenfield, cleanliness is utmost of importance, (covid), very friendly, serves good food and drink. If rated I would give this 5+ 07/10/20 Just had a scone, lovely, also had previously a ham salad sandwich, most excellent, (always judge a place by the ham sandwich) love the place ❤️ Still has 5* rating

Really disappointing experience. Arrived at 8.30 while travelling. Shown to a table with a dirty cloth. The building was freezing and I had to turn around the radiator to get it to point at me. Order food … a salad, mushrooms, pasta and bread that all came at the time. The food was okay but stodgy. No check to see if so needed another drink, which I had finished sometime ago. I then stupidly ordered the brownie. Heard it being popped in the microwave. It was only half done … on edges hot but completely frozen on inside. Really disappointing overall and would not come back. What is weird is looking down the reviews you can see that people have had two very different experiences of this restaurant. Sadly this was not a good day!!

Great family pub, landlord, and landlady Pauline & Les great owners, we've been going in for years and will be sad to see them go in 2024 absolutely recommend you visit before they leave. We will miss you, Les & Pauline Dec 2023

Thursday 18th Jan 24. Decided on dinner out 6-15 Not too busy early doors. Offers 2 for 1 on steak/ grill menu, but we decided on sideplates. Meatballs, fishcake, salt pepper chicken, onion rings, chunkier chips. Bottle red wine, 2 pints estrella. Just under £65. Good service and food.Will be back to try the steak. Dave N. Oldham.

Local curry shop for me...decent

Been using this takeaway since it opened as Paach bali and it used to be excellent but we had a really poor experience a few months ago where the food was very bland and just not worth the money. We decided to try them again yesterday and we had another bad experience and will not be using them again. We had prawn on puri and they were tiny and the puri would fit on a small saucer, it was quite bland and the prawns were also tiny. The main meals were not much better with the butter chicken was bland and the dansak didn't even have pineapple in which it has in the past (i do realise some curry houses don't add it but here has in the past). Don't know if the management of chef has changed but i can make a nicer one myself so will do so in future or travel further afield

Attended a private celebration party with friends, not as busy as previous visits. Bar staff were very good 👍

Food an 30 mins late mega boxes arrived wet damaged and cold Chilli burger with fries missing of order no numbers for a contact we usually spend 70 /80 pound a time won't be getting another penny appalling service

Great pub in the week, But not for me @ Weekends Not my type of client hanging around outside drunk & smoking the wrong stuff,

Local chippy - food is nice, proper 'chippy chips', friendly staff, decent food, decent pricing. Always on my shortlist when I don't want to make tea

Food is amazing and worth the wait but the older woman needs a dose of HRT x
