Wow what a wonderful dinner!! Full of flavor and truly an exceptional dinner:) the spice was just right and you have the option to make it spicier or not:) the service is brilliant and so welcoming. I ordered the lamb samoosas to start and they were delicious, then chicken curry with extremely tender chicken and a thick Marsala sauce that was to die for! On top of all this excellence they serve COBRA draft beer and it's the way to go. If your in the mood for real flavor and a great curry this is the place to go! Thank you Jai Lounge for your magic!

My first visit to the Allegria Restaurant and most definitely be dining here again. The owner Salvatore saw to us personally and an absolute gentleman he was. We ordered Home baked Lasagne, Risotto Haddock, Pepperoni pizza with 2 rounds of garlic bread and drinks. Huge portions and very reasonably priced , for me personally the pizza was the best I've ever tasted. Lovely to eat where it is cosy inside and no need to wrap up like a few places I've been to. Lovely atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff 10/10

The business is under new ownership and now just sells ice cream, rock, sweets and other novelties. We ordered ice cream and it was grainy so the children threw it away. Really disappointing.

We have dined here several times whilst on holiday in the area and always enjoyed the food, service and ambiance. This time, unfortunately, the bar and restaurant were empty when we arrived - hence no atmosphere. The duck on noodles was pretty salty - as folk who don't use salt in any cooking, or on the table, it really was far too much. The creme brulee was superb.

It's not the Ritz, but it feels brilliant. The food is excellent as is the service from the really friendly staff. It is a really relaxed and pleasant ambience.

We've dined and relaxed in the Pavilion cafe many times over the years and the quality of food and service has always been HQ. We're very aware that the main costs of running any eatery nowadays is very high, but pleased to say the owners have kept the quality of food etc to the same high standard, whilst keeping portions and prices reasonable too. Always a pleasure to see well behaved doggie visitors here too, and grateful to the cafe owners for keeping yappy dogs (and kids) under control, even if their owners cant. Nothing nicer on a summer's day than to sit in the ' cafe forecourt' with a great coffee and some tasty food

I usually love this place, especially their soups! However, the one downside is the consistently unfriendly service. Unfortunately, today wasnā€™t the first time I left feeling as though I was being looked down on. Thereā€™s something about the way you're made to feel like an inconvenience just for ordering. It felt like I was holding them up simply by making my order. I ended up paying without getting everything I initially wanted. If the staff was quicker the lady behind me who ordered after me wouldn't have got the last 2 soups. Itā€™s not my fault if your memory canā€™t recall what was ordered and you have to ask ā€˜anything elseā€™ over and over. Iā€™m nothing but polite when I come in. Given the number of reviews mentioning poor customer service, itā€™s clear Iā€™m not alone in this experience. I understand itā€™s not easy standing on your feet for hours, but I hope this feedback encourages a friendlier attitude in the future. TIA

Overall very expensive. We ended up just getting 2 Americano coffees, Ā£8 40 which was absolutely too expensive. The cafe doesnā€™t even have a toilet, they give you a key to use the pier facilities.
