The best restaurants serving Default food in Allerdale North West

The woman here need to be re-trained how to make a cooler properly..And how to deal with customers without being immature...today she blended the ice far to much and put far too much cordial in..it was a disaster..like drinking pure cordial juice....i asked her to put more ice in and make it properly and she blended it up again...Second time lucky !! But she ignored me for the rest of the time i was in the shop ! She should grow up ! shes like a child in a womens body ! come on how hard is it to make a slush first time . A child could do its only ice and for £4 .05 p for a small cooler it should be make correctly.

Nice friendly staff, first time in this bakery. Bought bread which was excellent and a carrot cake slice, which was a bit dry, but overall very nice local shop.

Great little cafe inside the climbing wall building. Friendly staff. We had tomato soup and a tuna melt, with a bottle of water and a can for £12.50. We thought this was good value and the food was very nice. We've been twice now, but now we know it's here, we will use it again whilst on a circular walk from Keswick.

We went to the opening night and had a fantastic time. The staff handled the stresses of a first night so well and we had delicious food and plenty to drink, the atmosphere was amazing too. Well worth a visit! We tried a range of options on the A La Carte Menu and all were fantastic

We visited this pub whilst visiting Keswick. My partner is a real ale drinker and we like to frequent pubs with a selection of real ale. The bar area is somewhat clinical feeling. We ordered a pint and a half of one ale. When we started to drink it we realised it was cloudy and didn't taste right. We returned it to the bar and the staff immediately changed it for another beer. Unfortunately, this too was not of a good standard and although we really didn't want to complain we took this back too. Again the staff were great. They accepted that this was not of a good standard. They changed the barrel and brought new beers to our table. It was very unfortunate that both of our chosen beers were not good to start but we must congratulate the staff on the way that they handled this. They were pleasant and helpful throughout. We did not eat here but the lunches that were being served looked very good. A couple we got chatting to said they had both had great food. So all in all we would recommend this pub!

From start to finish, what a fantastic anniversary dinner we had. Taken to our pre booked table immediately. Jug of water and 2 glasses left on table by waitress(something every restaurant should do)followed by menus. Short time later waitress came and took food and drink orders. Drinks appeared in no time at all. Food came out and boy was it tasty. Garlic mushrooms and spring rolls to start followed by rump steak and potatoes of your choice. I got cheesy chilli and they were awesome. Will be back and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking quality affordable grub.

Beautiful food, we came for the night, it was tapas night. Brilliant couldn't fault it. Staff very friendly. Drinks were lovely too

Large cafe, quick friendly service with a varied menu. Dog friendly, we had breakfast which was very good, service was very quick.

Fantastic Gym, great equipment, well maintained, lovely staff who are engaging and knowledgeable and now it’s 24hrs what more could you want? Bloody Brilliant!!

The Back Bar is the place to watch football in Keswick for sure, great atmosphere, a west facing patio, and lovely service!

Been here a couple of times lately and the food has been lovely, pleasant staff ,good wine and nice atmosphere ,.looking forwards to trying the Sunday lunch.

We often go to this take away pizzeria. They make pizza you can take away with you. Its a fantastic idea In the words of ali g "dey is wicked, aye"

As a vegan the choice is very limited often nothing. The staff are fantastic and this makes it better than most Costa's.
