A lovely Costa, Madison was so welcoming and friendly, and made us great coffees too. Extra points for this branch too because they haven't installed the horribly stressful, inaccessible digital menu screens which change every couple of seconds.

Made a visit today with my daughter (6 months) placed my order which was a bacon sandwich and large latte plus I requested some warm water to heat up a bottle of milk for my baby I was refused point blank by the staff member called Laura to have some warm water, I did not question this and just accepted it, once I left I ended up going to Asda cafe and getting some warm water front there to be able to feed my baby, looking back I feel this is the wrong attitude to have for some simple warm water and I would have gladly paid for it but I wasn't given the option. Food and coffee was nice enough no complaints, but management need to address Laura's attitudes massively as the company could really do without a staff member like that and it makes you wonder if she has done this before to other customers.

The woman here need to be re-trained how to make a cooler properly..And how to deal with customers without being immature...today she blended the ice far to much and put far too much cordial in..it was a disaster..like drinking pure cordial juice....i asked her to put more ice in and make it properly and she blended it up again...Second time lucky !! But she ignored me for the rest of the time i was in the shop ! She should grow up ! shes like a child in a womens body ! come on how hard is it to make a slush first time . A child could do its only ice and for £4 .05 p for a small cooler it should be make correctly.

I'm fussy when it comes to coffee, the ladies make it exactly how I order it no matter who is on the machine, the environment is warm, the place is extremely EXTREMELY clean aswell. Staff always speak in polite manner and nothing is ever to much and they will go that extra mile if they have to and staff are great with kids also....this branch of Costa in Workington is probably the best out the 3 as this place makes you feel like your at home having a coffee and you soon switch off from others around you to enjoy the brew. A+ first class

Early morning and looking for a refreshing place to relax and unwind before starting work? You'll certainly find it at this branch of Costa! I'm eternally grateful for them deciding to open early as the town is devoid of any cafe's around 8am!

Me and my wife fancied a cuppa at the local cafe and were very displeased and shocked to see the person serving us was covered in plasters when asking what was wrong (Because we thought she had sores on her face) she replied to me that she has to cover her piercing now my wife literally had to go outside because she felt sick at the sight of them SURELY PLASTERS ARE MORE SURE TO FALL OFF AND ARE MORE OF A SICKENING SITE THAN PIERCICNGS !!!!!! my grandaughter herself has piercings and I must say they are not a bad site to look at we wanting a nice cuppa but our time was ruined by people covered in plasters ! WOULD NOT RECCOMEND THIS AT ALL !! ONE STAR!!!!!!

We visited Costa Coffee at Dunmail Park today ( 16th february) due to their online advert offering half price cakes with every hot drink. We were served by a sullen blond girl with smug tendencies. When we paid the bill I queried whether we had paid full price for the cakes. Her disinterested reply was, "You should have given me a code." The advert on the website definitely did not suggest the need for a code, but did say " terms and conditions apply." We had naturally assumed that the "terms and conditions " was the need to buy a hot drink and order cake, during the same transaction. The aforementioned sullen girl developed a smug look on her face and looked for back up from her manageress who was standing beside her. The manageress (a dark haired young woman) obviously considered our very presence to be more bother than was worth her while, told us that in order to have half price cakes we should have a code which we would have received via email from CC. She explained to us, in a manner which suggested we must be under- educated fools ( definitely not the case) to expect the cake deal unless we had been personally invited to do so via email from CC. She said the offer was only for the chosen few whom CC had invited (via email) to part take as it would be ridiculous for every customer to benefit. We had already paid our bill, so accepted the churlish dressing down and moved to a table. Unfortunately the very unprofessional pair then decided it was totally acceptable for them to stand behind their counter, disrespectfully discussing us and glaring at us. Not the kind of customer service which would encourage a customer to return.

A small Costa coffee outlet in a small retail park. All the usual Costa products on sale. Friendly welcoming staff. If its busy, getting a seat is the one downside. Other than that, it's a good place to grab a coffee when shopping.

Lovely location. A Fantastic, unhurried Sunday Lunch. Scallops and soup to start with and then the most tender roast beef dinner. Could not manage a sweet. Thank you to the chef for the meal and the delightful Hostess and staff for the service. It was a pleasure. Kind Regards, Stuart and Steve. Child hood friends. ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️

From start to finish, what a fantastic anniversary dinner we had. Taken to our pre booked table immediately. Jug of water and 2 glasses left on table by waitress(something every restaurant should do)followed by menus. Short time later waitress came and took food and drink orders. Drinks appeared in no time at all. Food came out and boy was it tasty. Garlic mushrooms and spring rolls to start followed by rump steak and potatoes of your choice. I got cheesy chilli and they were awesome. Will be back and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking quality affordable grub.

Stopped here for dinner after a long hot walk around Derwentwater. It’s a cosy pub with lots of real ales on offer. I opted for the steak and ale pie which was amazing - all home cooked and reasonably priced. I would definitely return here again on my next visit to Keswick
