The best restaurants serving Default food in Evenwood County Durham North East

Had a loavely sandwich and jacket potato here, I'm lead to believe the shop isn't open anymore but trading from their other premesis

Best Fish and Chips I've had in a long time Friendly staff and the food fantastic, local delivery Travelled from Tow Law on recommendation and could not believe the quantity and Quality of the Fish and Chips . Worth the trip

Now has been turned in to big joe steakhouse food was beautiful price was good staff were helpful and polite will definitely return ribs were falling of the bone bbq sauce was to die for and the steak looked beautiful they also do a burger challeng whitch looked massive not sure if anyone will be able to beat it

Un piccolo angolo di paradiso a poco più di un'ora dall'aereoporto di Manchester. Jonathan e Allison sono due persone stupende che ci hanno accolto con calore. Ash lodge è una piccola perla in mezzo alla campagna inglese, con vasca finlandese e BBQ (grazie per la extra legna). Circondati da prati, boschi e pecore, abbiamo passato due giorni stupendi. Formaggio FAVOLOSO!

A lovely village pub. Offers a range of beers and occasionally food. Opening hours are not standard, so worth checking before you go.

Good food, good service. Tables were a little tightly packed in and a meal was missed from our table of ten but soon rectified.

Food was nothing special, my wife didn't like the braised steak, had a funny taste, not off just not plain, as if cooked in too many herbs. I managed to eat it and she had my steak pie. Chips were frozen not fresh. Very expensive, bill over £30, fine for a meal for 2 with a pint in a pub but not in a cafe.

Absolutely lovely , the food wow , the room wow ,the owners and staff are a credit, I be asking work to put me in here in future cannot praise the place enough

Rang 5 times to book a table but just goes to voicemail asking to leave a message and someone will get back to you but nobody did. Don't know how people make reservations.

Pleasant and welcoming bar staff and good prices give this pub an edge over the competition. Add in spotless cleanliness and it means I'll go back. It's definitely worth the walk. In common with all Sam Smiths pubs there's a notice prohibiting use of mobile phones inside. There's no WiFi. The prohibition is enforced with common sense and humour.

Was up on holiday barmaid made us welcome and had a laugh

Another fabulous visit to the Curlew Cafe at High Farm Holiday Park, wonderful friendly welcome. Great lunch and cake, followed by a lovely walk round the animals. Great place, with lovely views. Need to come back with the grandchildren

What can we say, the team brought Luigi (the Tuk) to our wedding, the gests LOVED the waffles. We had a choice of ice cream and sauces and every guest had a huge grin on their face! This was a spectacular ending to the night and the pictures we got with the Tuk are great. Highly recommend this for your event.
