The best restaurants serving British food in Evenwood County Durham North East

Food was nothing special, my wife didn't like the braised steak, had a funny taste, not off just not plain, as if cooked in too many herbs. I managed to eat it and she had my steak pie. Chips were frozen not fresh. Very expensive, bill over £30, fine for a meal for 2 with a pint in a pub but not in a cafe.

Stayed over for the night everything was perfect. The food was out of this world, the portions were very large excellent value for money, the staff couldnt do enough for you. Will reccomend this little gem to anyone

Rang 5 times to book a table but just goes to voicemail asking to leave a message and someone will get back to you but nobody did. Don't know how people make reservations.
