This is the best Chinese food in Luton. Don’t waste your time eating anywhere else. Seriously. Great rice, perfect chicken always. Curry sauce is flawless. Salt and pepper chicken is the best I have eaten anywhere in the world. Fast friendly service.

This restaurant has only let themselves down after two deliveries in the last few months arrived with the incorrect rice, clearly specified in the order... After waiting an hour for delivery, I had to drive to the restaurant to exchange the order and by the time I was finished, I had to reheat the entire order... Restaurants really do need to pay attention to additional/specific instructions mentioned in the order due to potential food allergies... It wasn't long ago that an indian restaurant owner got jailed after killing someone who had a nut allergy, which was specified in the additional requirements... Luckily, this isn't a case of an allergy, just a preference... The food at Ashiyana is good, as well as the price, but I really don't like being messed around so I won't be ordering from here again... Perfect example of how to lose regular, repeat customers...

J'ai commander via JustEat mais j'ai appeler avant pour savoir si la viande était Halal et bien évidemment la personne me répond que OUI (ils ne vont pas perdre un client) Il s'avère que la viande n'est pas Halal, car j'ai rappeler et je suis sans doute tomber sur autre personne qui m'a répondu l'inverse. Je laisse ce commentaire ici et me dirige pour porter plainte au commissariat. A vouloir être trop gourmand, vous allaient vous en mordre les doigts je vous le garantie. As a recommendation from a friend who lived in the area who claimed it was his go to out of the lot in Luton area. I decided to sample my two go to dishes here. Overall, was well made and decent. But not perfect and a little bit of excessive MSG use left me thirsty afterwards. A good chinese place does not need to use too much MSG. I’ll start with the BBQ Pork fried rice. I actually ordered this without pea but was still included, perhaps a miscommunication, so I’ll let that one slide. Can’t say they contributed much to the flavour unfortunately. The pork was decent had flavour with the egg and rice. Not too salty but can tell it had salt, unfortunately not enough soy sauce (both light and dark) was used. The colour of the rice was pretty light and they compensated by using more salt and MSG rather than putting reliance on soy sauce to do the job. Egg felt like it was missing flavour, it tells me they may have separated the egg yolk out and didn’t crack a fresh egg in the wok. The BBQ Pork was deep fried rather than roasted and shown signs of marination; decently prepped. It wasn’t the best was definitely decent. Above the UK national standard I expect from a Chinese takeaway/restaurant. Good portion size for the standard size container. Now salt and pepper chicken. I must praise the size of the chicken & how well the batter was made. Chicken texture was not dry, very well made batter, crispy without overcooking the chicken. 10/10 on their prep and deep frying anthology. Unfortunately, this perfectly well prepped chicken is let down by their salt and pepper spice mix, the mixture was not distributed well so a fair share of the flavour was stuck at the bottom of the container. Right level of spice kick from using fresh chili, correct. Excessive amount of fresh chopped onions is used, it didn’t spend enough time in the wok doing the spice mix so it wasn’t charred unfortunately. Good mix of other dried spices and seasoning. What was most interesting was the inclusion of what looked like crispy rice noodle at the bottom underneath everything. Not a bad thing but thats a UK first for me in comparison to other chinese establishments. Despite my criticism, I do recommend coming here to order. As the food quality all round is good. It also wasn’t oily! Do be aware that they only accept cash before visiting.

This was our last ever visit to The Warden Beefeater as it shuts its doors forever on Sunday. This venue has been such a part of my life events over the years as it has been for many. Shame on Whitbread for not realising what a special place this is for all the locals. No consultation offered or details of what this will become . The Warden Tavern we will miss you !

I recently visited Peri Peri on Riddy Lane and was readily impressed! The food was absolutely scrumptious, loaded with flavor and perfectly cooked. The service was excellent the staff was friendly. Hygiene standards were up to mark, with a clean and well-maintained environment that put my mind at ease. I highly recommend Peri Peri for anyone looking for a fantastic takeaway experience. Five stars all around!

My husband and I enjoyed a good meal this evening and we were looking forward to eating steak. The cut of our choice is rump, you now only offer sirloin. It was cooked to our liking but is no where near as enjoyable as eating rump steak, which is much more tasty and a better texture. Not the fault of the staff as they can only cook what you sell. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. No complaints except the cut of steak. We would pay a bit more for rump.

I ordered from there no chips or drink came called the restaurant regarding this and they said someone will come and redeliver but nothing came
