The best restaurants serving Default food in Lothingland Great Yarmouth East of England

Phoned on three separate days to book a table in restaurant but got no answer so called in as we were passing one day. There is a large seat blocking the bar/restaurant entrance and the doors were shut at about 15.00 on a Wednesday. I can only assume it's not open now. The opening/closing information has also been removed from the main sign near the road.

It’s always wonderful to visit Fritton Lake, laid back luxury with such beautiful grounds, great food and lovely atmosphere. Every member of staff is so friendly and helpful, the Club House beautifully decorated. It’s a rare treat to find somewhere as lovely as this, and it’s dog friendly!

Very disappointed! There were 4 of us and the food was not nice. Sausage and mash….mash had lumps and the sausages looked undercooked as were white! Steak & Ale pie….burnt and the inside was dried out like it had been reheated more than once. Beef roast dinner was the worst we had ever had, roast potatoes were burnt! Will never go back there as the customer service was non existent! Not once did someone come to the table to ask if everything was as ok.

Very tasty chicken kebab with mushrooms, onions and peppers. Food was fab and they delivered to a campsite. Would definately recommend!!

Charming establishment with underwhelming service and cuisine. Upon our unplanned arrival, we were directed from behind the bar to a cramped table by a disinterested older lady who hurled a menu board in our direction without a glance, instructing us, "Sit over there." There was no instruction to place orders at the bar, resulting in confusion and delays for many customers who awaited service in the wrong section, before being redirected. We chose the Sunday roast, which arrived lukewarm alongside a neighbouring table's equally tepid dishes. Disappointed with the quality, I returned my plate to be reheated, finding it inedible. A replaced dish was served after a 20-minute delay. When the nearby table requested an extra Yorkshire pudding, the unenthusiastic response they received was far from inviting. The inexperienced staff, particularly the younger servers, would benefit from training as they were surprised by our request for cutlery and struggled with food orders and basic tasks. The unsatisfactory dining experience led us to leave our meal unfinished, without indulging in any dessert.

After booking, the staff appeared to be very unprofessional, half hour before the booking for manicures, massage and pool, it was cancelled so a very disappointed group of people
