The best restaurants serving Default food in Hertford Heath East Hertfordshire East of England

Poor. Used to be a lovely Pub to have a Roast Dinner in, especially on the Sundays the Classic Cars turned up! Today's Roast Beef was frankly nothing of the sort, tough, stringy and tasteless - I suspect it wasn't the days Roast at all, but some pre-packaged 'Roast Beef' slices. Apart from that, it's a nice, friendly, local Pub.

Good country pub, though not as good as before the refurb.

Absolutely wonderful pub with 10/10 staff, food is brilliant with fantastic management from Darcey. Recommend highly.

All we can say is WOW. We went for a birthday meal. The roast beef dinner was absolutely delicious. Every part of the dinner was tasty and so well presented and loads of it. The staff were so lovely and friendly and all of them had big smiles on their faces. Would not hesitate to go back again and again.

We have visited this venue many times. We have found the menu to be very comprehensive and enjoyed many of the various dishes on offer with no complaints, hot, delicious and competitively priced. The staff are wonderful, chatty, friendly, helpful & nothing is too much trouble. We have taken our sons, wives and grandchildren, they too have enjoyed the quality of the food with a great choice for the little ones. I highly recommend this venue for either a quick bite, when passing through or for a delicious Sunday roast.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and good food. An all round nice pub to visit. I bought my kids there are they were very welcoming
