The best restaurants serving Default food in Cranfield and Marston Moretaine Central Bedfordshire East of England

I regularly eat at leon and on seeing there was a restaurant on the center parcs site i was giddy kippers. Unfortunately the whole experience left an unexpectedly bad taste in my mouth. The service was slow and unorganised and after ordering an ice americano i was told they had no ice. I ordered a regular americano which i waited 20 minutes for. It was only after i went up to check on the status of my drink did the girl then make it. As for the egg pot i ordered. Never in all of my visits to the various leons have i experienced such an awful meal. The Poached egg pot (Which i waited over 30 minutes for) was rubber. The egg was over cooked, the mushrooms chewy and the beans were a congealed blob. I was so disappointed i couldnt finish it. I just wanted it to be better.

Arriving at the Coach & Horses early evening we were impressed with the helpful and friendly welcome. Our positive reaction continued with the spacious and immaculately clean room. Large wet room as we requested well stocked with bathroom requisites. The guest accommodation is in a building separate from the pub premises. It looks quite new and clearly a lot of attention has been paid to design and quality. Following a very comfortable night we headed to the pub for breakfast. Cereals available along with orange juice on a self service basis followed by a full English cooked to order. It was excellent with well cooked bacon and sausage and beans on the plate rather than in one of those little pots you see these days. Service was friendly and efficient. So, we were heading for a strong ‘5’ - but then we booked in for dinner which, surprisingly, was a bit of a disappointment. I’ve often found that pub curries don’t work for me but in this instance I decided to make an exception and chose the Beef Madras. The flavour was excellent and authentic but the beef was either a cheaper cut or was undercooked as it was very tough and took a lot of chewing. Such a shame. My wife chose the fish fillet which she described as tasteless. The sauce was OK but didn’t rescue the fish itself. The crumble came to the rescue. Full of fruit with a creamy custard and a generous portion. Delicious.

Food was meh. Team were nice, other than one who was a little abrasive and rude.

We have recently visited here as a family of 8 plus a baby, the staff went above and beyond during our visit, it was our nieces 7th birthday and two members of the party celebrated a wedding anniversary too. They were given cards, candles in there food they had ordered and for the couple celebrating they both received a free glass of fizz. Now if that isn’t star quality service, I don’t know what is. Absolutely would recommend anyone who is at Center Parcs please visit here! And also the pancakes are amazing too! 10/10 for The Ultimate Chocolate Pancakes! Also pictured is the Apple Crumble Pancakes. My partner loved them!

What a great disappointment. Quite a few years since I had been to The Place to Eat at MK, no problem. As I’m a coeliac it turned out there was now little choice. There was gluten free bread to go with the soup, but all the three soups contained gluten! The staff were very helpful about the lack of choice & eventually the manager, who came with ‘the dreaded book of allergies’ managed to find me a beef casserole + rice to eat.

The service here was absolutely shocking. Our waitress was very rude, not welcoming in the slightest. We complained at the end of the meal due to our food being cold and very poor. The bacon was not cooked neither was the egg and the toast had obviously been left to sit due to it being hard. The waitress stormed off whilst we complained didn’t apologise once. She was extremely moody and it was a very uncomfortable situation. I would never go back to Cafe Rouge, I expected the service and food to be very good due to it being at Center Parcs. I would never recommend.

Been going here for years. Best chips in town and good crispy batter served with a smile and impeccable manners. Food always hot...many things cooked to order so nice and fresh

Brilliant service by friendly and attentive staff. Food was very nice, atmosphere great. Onion bhaji amazing. Some of the potions, particularly the rice, could be more generous. Overall great experience

Vor zwei Wochen war ich das Erste Mal essen, dort die Atmosphäre im Umgang mit uns Kunden war nicht sehr einladend, doch ich versuchte das Essen mal ich hatte vegetarische Pflänzchen und Kartoffelpüree, das Püree war fade ohne Würze und Geschmack und die Pflänzchen trocken. Dementsprechend war ich nicht überzeugt. Und heute wollte ich To GO Essen für mich und meine Kollegin holen, um Mittag zu essen. Ohne Hallo oder ein nettes Lächeln wurde ich nur angefahren mit dem Text, falsche Maske! Obwohl kein Aushang oder Information am Eingang angebracht war und 5 Kunden vor mir auch Essen to go abholten mit einer normalen Maske wie ich. Ich wurde auch nicht weiter bedient oder angesprochen. Das war mein Letzter Besuch. Ich bin Entäuscht.
