Terrible. Won't get a worse fish and chips anywhere in Cambridgeshire.

5/5 Stars – Great Breakfast, Great Value Popped into The Earl Of Derby in Cambridge for their full English breakfast and was really pleased. At £7.95 including tea or coffee, it's a great deal. The food came out quickly and the portion was generous — big sausage, plenty of bacon, hash brown, egg, beans, toast, and tomatoes. I asked for no mushrooms and they got that spot on. Tasty, filling, and in a relaxed pub setting — exactly what you want from a proper breakfast. Will definitely be back!

Me gusta el lugar y el personal siempre ha sido agradable. El problema es cómo se organizan todos los alimentos y los precios. La comida es promedio (nada especial), pero todos los precios están increíblemente inflados. Un pastel de espinacas le costará £ 8 - en la mayoría de los otros lugares es ~ £ 2. Un tazón de ensalada cuesta £ 5. Un sándwich, un trozo de pastel pequeño y una bebida te pondrá fácilmente > £ 20 y esto es por persona! This is a take away.not eat in, but you can always pop into the pub for a drink while you wait. This was our first time and we all enjoyed what we ordered. Very tasty, hot on arrival home, plenty of sauce and nice crunch onion bhaji.

Just paid nearly £5 for a stale roll with barely a single rasher of bacon in it.

Grubby plastic marque. Drinks took ages to come out, cocktails were underwhelming, small menu (which is fine, but they didn't have everything on it). Starters came out but olives and nuts we ordered didn't come - eventually (when everyone had finished their starters), a grubby bowl of olives came out but they had no nuts! Wine was expensive for what it was. Mains dribbled out, rather than all coming together, rare steak wasn't rare, food wasn't particularly hot. Tiny risotto. We had pudding and a couple of us ordered what we were told was homemade Bailey's ice cream with a chocolate fondant - it turned out to be bay leaf ice cream, which didn't go particularly well! Had some more underwhelming and overpriced cocktails in the bar. Woke up this morning feeling hard done by and then read a text from one of our party asking if I thought we should complain. Really disappointing and certainly not what you'd expect from an upmarket central Cambridge hotel. Won't be heading back.

The service from here has gone downhill rapidly lately. Tried to order from the app, the app wasn't working. It said I should ring the store and order. Tried calling the store, they didn't answer the phone. Went to the store to be told I couldn't order over the counter because there was only one member of staff working, I should book through the app. I wasted almost an hour from start to finish and left with not been able to order at all. Won't be using that specific store again.
