The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Falkirk Central Scotland

Ordered a takeaway via the app, they said to pick it up at 5.55, I arrived at that time and still had to wait another 30 minutes before being given my order. The mussels in black bean sauce, were inedible and overcooked. The firecracker chicken had too much chilli’s in the dish which made it virtually impossible to eat. My husband had the chicken fried rice, he said it was tasteless and bland! I have had food several times from Cotton House, this was a very disappointing meal. Don’t think I will be ordering again!!

Always delivery prompt . Food excellent. Great customer service. Would recommend. Missed this takeaway during COVID lockdown. So excited when I could get my weekend Chinese treat back.

Called to book delivery at 5.30pm, was told food would be delivered within an hour, was waiting for the food to arrive. Called back at 7pm to be told food order is in the kitchen hasn’t been made yet and couldn’t even tell me a time for it to be delivered. Didn’t let me know either. Complete joke.

On arrival advise they need table within 80 min. Plenty of food and great selection. Chicken curry not the greatest. Place is very noisy and a few near misses. Over priced

Called to order a meal for collection, I asked on the phone if they took card payment to which the man on the phone replied no and hung up? Called back straight away as I thought there had been a mistake, I said I think you maybe hung up on me to which he replied ‘i don’t take card payment’. I said if you had let me finish the first time I was going to say ‘that’s fine I’ll lift money on the way’ but will take my business elsewhere. Really strange conversation and have never had that issue in the past, although that was the first time ordering in a while so clearly something has changed. Really rude encounter and don’t understand why you’d want to hang up on a customer for no reason?

This takeaway always shows as available on just eat but now twice we have tried to order, to then get a text saying the restaurant has cancelled the order. It’s a joke. They shouldn’t show as available for orders if they aren’t!

Told we had to give table back at 7 (booked at 5.30), understand they want to get as many people through the door as possible but we were rushed along and constantly reminded about this throughout the meal. I was there with 2 friends and didn’t feel this was enough time allocated. I don’t go out much and it’s also about the experience as well as the food. Saying that the food was exellent but I wouldn’t go back purely for reason stated.

Food was average. Staff were friendly & efficient. Was very quiet when we were there.

Been looking to try somewhere new, was recommended by a family member. Pleasant on phone, did have to ask for him to repeat back order to me. Delivery took an hour but during the festive season was acceptable. Price was good, portion size good, wil definitely be back.

Do not order there salt & chilli chips very disappointing. Rest of order fine, never had any issues before but would not order these again, literally salt & pepper that’s it!!
