Lucky ho in Falkirk

ordered takeaway whilst staying at premier inn. cooked fresh and ready for collection within 30 minutes. Very nice food, large portions and reasonably priced I would recommend when in the area.

Not once have I ever had bad food from the Lucky Ho. The delivery service is always excellent and I just can't fault this place. I've been using it for years.

Plenty choices and a good selection of vegetarian dishes. Just ask while placing your order and they will tweak you dish to the way you would like it! Great staff and brilliant delivery drivers.

We both visited this Chinese takeaway restaurant whilst passing through, staff were very pleasant and the premises appeared to be very clean, after a short wait we were served very quickly, the food was very good, the curry was a bit more hot than other takeaways, but nevertheless very tasty, I'm sure we will be back.

We are visiting the area and staying in a difficult to find location. We ordered for delivery and had to call a couple of times to help the driver to find us. They were most helpful and patient. When the food arrived it was nice and hot still. The driver was even happy to leave the food and we called the shop back to pay over the phone after it had been delivered. Very happy to leave a positive review.

The Lucky Ho was recommended to me by a friend. I have consistently found the food to be very tasty and hot. Lovely staff on phone and delivery. Cannot beat this restaurant and I have tried lots in Falkirk area. First rate.

Have been using this place for a good few years now and never had a bad meal. I found the all the staff very friendly. And when having it delivered it always arrived on time.

I was in Falkirk for the night and fancied a takeaway. It is everything i expected. I had special fried rice and spring rolls. All tasted as expected and were hot. What more can i say.

The staff are very cheeky and can be very rude, they do not apologise when they are in the wrong. The place has gave us the wrong food multiple times, i am also allergic to carrots and i always ask for without and alot of the time they have gave us out order with carrots, they then expected us to keep the food that i am allergic to in the house until they came to collect an hour later, by that time we would’ve obviously put the food in the bin. I would not recommend this chinese as they will put a damper on youre night!!

Mrs Ho has finally retired. The new owners are keeping the name alive and also keeping the tradition of fine chinese food alive. Is the food as good as the old owners was, is the big question? Well, its not as superb as before, but its still better than almost all the rest in the Falkirk area, so it still merits a 5 star rating.

Ordered a chicken ( breast) curry and fried rice and it was delicious! After a string of rotten takeaways recently im so pleased ive found somewhere that does quality ingredients ! Would deffo recommend!

My partner and I have just started coming to the lucky ho for our takeaway and have never had a bad meal. Food is fresh and tasty. Service is always good. Best Chinese takeaway in Falkirk!

Have been going here for years, never once had a bad meal, the lady who serves is really nice and the service is quick, definitely recommend this place.

I am allergic to MSG and they give me food with it not in. Applies to limited menu but means I can have Chinese which I love. Good value great food recommended

Ordered large family & friends take away on New Years Eve, was ready in 20 mins and the dishes were all really good. Large portions, loads of vegetables and meat. Crispy chilli beef and chicken by far the best. Yummy.

The food and the service from the Lucky Ho are both top notch. Didn't need to wait too long and it was great stuff. Recommend for a good grade of standard 'Chinese' fare.

Situated in Camelon nr Falkirk, this takeaway service is second to none, no sit in fasciitis delivery only , family run for many years it has a great reputation in the area for their food. Food is first class and piping hot , good sized portions and cooked fresh from order , at weekend it's so popular that waiting is inevitable, so phone early opens 4.30 till late , would recommend Lucky Ho as I have done to friends and neighbours, see you Saturday!!!

I have used the Lucky Ho for many years and it has never disappointed. The delivery times are reasonable and prices are good value.

This was our first visit to this take away and at first from the outside it looked a bit rundown and when we were inside we were worried at first as we were the only customers. Granted it was 9pm on a Thursday night...however shortly after entering and looking a the menu, another 4 customers came in to place orders.We waited on our order as it was being cooked and this felt like no time at all. When we got home we tucked into our meal - I ordered Chicken Pineapple with boiled rice and it was delicious . I tried my boyfriends meal of beef curry, however I found this to be greasy and gelatinous although the beef was a good quality. Also the spring roll starter was quite greasy and the filo pastry thick.They were slightly inflexible with the menu for example there is an option of salt and chilli ribs and they were unwilling to swap to salt and chilli chicken.

I've had many a carry out from this place and each time it has been excellent. I cant offer the best dish as I have had so many and each was great.

Always friendly, and more importantly always tasty food at the Lucky Ho. We have always had generous portions, and have never been disappointed with what we order. Sometimes at weekends it is very busy, slo either phone order in or be prepared for a wait.

Quick yummy food, I love the chicken fried rice as it has pees, it's fresh and quality produce, polite staff too. Been many times .

Just got in before closing time but what they gave me as a takeaway was disgusting ordered chilli shredded chicken and got dried chewy chicken even the batter was chewy with rice cool yet still stuck together, I microwaved it because it obviously had been kept lukewarm for some time and even if I'm eating cultured food I prefer it not to be with bacteria. I'm sorry chicken you died in vain, whatever you did in a previous life I'm sure you deserved better than this, bad enough the way you were reared and least they could have made you edible.
