Called to order a meal for collection, I asked on the phone if they took card payment to which the man on the phone replied no and hung up? Called back straight away as I thought there had been a mistake, I said I think you maybe hung up on me to which he replied ‘i don’t take card payment’. I said if you had let me finish the first time I was going to say ‘that’s fine I’ll lift money on the way’ but will take my business elsewhere. Really strange conversation and have never had that issue in the past, although that was the first time ordering in a while so clearly something has changed. Really rude encounter and don’t understand why you’d want to hang up on a customer for no reason?

Great little takeaway serving tge best food in the area. But come on halving your portions ain’t the way to get your customers to return. Raise the price if need be and fill the containers otherwise your customers just think they are being ripped off. Especially when your a CASH ONLY business !!!

Had a meal from here this evening and was so tasty. Even waiting for my order was pleasent had a lovely chat with Brian. Will be back to try something different.

Always have the best food here, everything is so tasty, always treated with respect service is great delivered quickly and delivery driver very pleasant. Would definitely recommend the sweet and sour chicken and the chips taste better that chipshop.

Called for a take away as had got one at the weekend and had been given complimentary spring rolls with spicy sauce which I thought was a nice touch. The food was delicious so decided to call back this evening. I asked how much the spring rolls were and quantity for the paying portion and I was advised they don’t come with any sauce. I explained about the ones I was given at the weekend and the owner went off on one and asked if I was a regular customer, I explained that I wasn’t and was returning because the food was nice, he shouted that I should have already a menu in front of me and that he did not want to give me an order because he has human rights. At this point I was wtf? Then he said I don’t have a driver to deliver to you. When I offered to collect he told me no unless I was a regular and to go somewhere else. Absolutely shocking behaviour and I feel this should be knowledge to others who may wish to order from this premises. Shame really as the food was delicious.

Had a varied menu from spring rolls to barbeques ribs to salt and pepper ribs as starters and then on to chow mein , king prawn Hong Kong style with fried rice and crispy beef in black bean sauce with fried rice. Really good food, good prices and fast service what's not to like!

Do not order from here,every item looked and tasted like a frozen dish. Yes we got free spring rolls = rotten.

Best Chinese take-away by far. Always good food, reasonable price, fast delivery and really friendly staff. This one has got the formula for good service and food just right

Avoid this place they have an ignorant attitude to customer service - tried to place an phone order several times on different dates and on each occasion the call was picked up yet no words ever said by the restaurant representative and then they just hang up the phone!A Takeaway which offers “delivery service” but can’t take telephone orders??!!!I understand if the shop is busy and it’s hard to take calls but at least talk to your customer and explain that - don’t just hang up! I won’t be trying to place any more orders with this joint - my business is best placed with the plentiful competition of Chinese takeaways in the area who offer far better customer service and far better food.

Really nice meal purchased for my wife & I which I ordered by phone and collected from the restaurant which is about a 10 minute drive from my home. Excellent, fast friendly service, from whom I took as the owner of the restaurant who engaged will with his customers. The premises are clean & bright which gives confidence in eating out from this establishment.

This simply is the best Chinese takeaway in the area. So much so our relatives make a point of asking for it when they visit. Food always tastes fresh and great. Staff friendly and never too long a wait yet always appear to be busy in shop and over the phone. They do delivery as well but note it’s cash only.

A small takeaway which provides fabulous food. Clean, busy, and good service (although it's best to phone ahead). Friendly staff. Superb value.

Ordered our takeaway on Saturday night...finally because it took ages to get through on phone because it's so busy with orders! I got my usual beef curry...fried rice and chips while my wife and fm grandkids had chips...curry sauce...noodles and fried rice. They told us it would be around 40 mins delivery....sadly it took over an hour because the delivery girl got lost finding our house...it is difficult for most items we get delivered by post or parcel force etc so I can understand. As for the meal it was top class....curry deffo hit the spot and the beef was delicious and not like chewing a rubber tyre in some other places I've tried. Family all enjoyed the meal once it finally arrived and will definitely keep returning again and again. 👍

Had used Brian's cottage in past & gutted when it changed hands a few years ago. Brightons Cross still run by Brian & family and food as excellent as ever. Loved the Kung Po chicken and the schezuan chicken. Keep up the good work, will, definitely be back. Parking is an issue but not impossible.

Moved to the area a year ago and been e best Chinese areaway in a 5 mile radius, the ones I've tried. Great choice of food, And all v tasty no matter what you order best one by a long way. V friendly staff and if you're a regular, I like a Friday treat then get to know you and make you feel very welcome. Also best prawn crackers I've ever had! Thoroughly recommend.

I live in the area and find myself driving past other Chinese take always to go to this one. Fresh, hot, tasty and orders dispatched very efficiently by Brian and his team. Only downside is parking down a narrow lane but totally worth it for what has now become and almost weekly treat.

Great Starter Salt and Pepper Ribs followed by Chicken Chilli and Rice. Great taste and served with a smile. Will be back

Not my favourite Chinese take away in the area - always annoying for me that they do not accept card, cash only in the take away and delivery. This is always my friends first choice for a Chinese take away therefore I eat here from time to time.
