The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Barnsley Yorkshire and The Humber

I have used this takeaway weekly on average since 1977. Unfortunately there has been a notice in the window to say that it has ceased trading (September 2024). I'm very disappointed to say the least but I would like to thank Peter and all his staff for the years of serving us with some lovely food. All the best in the future and good luck..... End of an era.

In my opinion the best Chinese in barnsley. The Thai curry I'd amazing. The delivery time has always been great. Food comes hot and there's plenty of it

As always, top class food, restaurant quality, best chinese food ever if you havnt tried it and you like Chinese food it's worth every penny not a cheap takeaway but we choose lots of dishes and would be double in a restaurant and nowhere near as nice.excellent .

An excellent takeaway of crispy beef, Singapore rice and mixed Sweet & Sour. Fresh and not greasy, complimentary prawn crackers. Prompt service for collection.

Have been a diner here for as long as I can remember, food is always cooked to perfection regardless of how busy it gets, staff are always helpful and friendly and will do there best to make your visit as pleasant as possible

Good pizza and quick service. Could have done with a bench or something outside as somewhere to eat it 🙂

Fantastic food order most weeks 😋

Absolutely despicable customer service. I received the wrong item and when I called to inform them, I was met with a rude and unhelpful response. I was told that they would call me back. I didn't accept that response. They then said they would send the correct item but it'd take a while cause it was busy. I said I wanted a refund as the rest of the food would go cold. The lady was humming and haring and said I would get a refund then hung up. I never received the refund. Disgusting behaviour and no way to treat customers should you want people to return. You have now lost 2 customers and all of those I'll be advising to stay away from you.

This was a take away order as the restaurant was closed . My meal king Prawn with pineapple was ok however the salt & pepper box @£17.90 was a complete waste of money 3/4 of which was inedible. I complained by telephone explaining it was grossly over cooked ( suspect it was already cooked and reheated) . All I received was “I’m sorry next time say you don’t want it cooking as much . Sorry not good enough I will not be ordering again .

Ordered a take away. Food was delicious, driver delivered with a smile and we will definitely be ordering from here again. Thank you

Always been our go to Chinese for years but was very disappointed tonight everything tasted reheated especially the salt and pepper chips they were like cardboard. Always delivered quickly but would rather wait longer for it to be fresh when it arrives

Worst Chinese ever. 18 quid for below average munch box. The chicken (dog meat) was like eating a rubber. The place needs burning down. The sauce was too small, the rice was worse than uncle bens and the wings were as black as the ace of spades. Ribs were just bone and the spring rolls were soft and just an unpleasant experience. I wouldn’t even feed this to the dog, not because it’s cannibalism but because it tastes that bad.

Place or order took money out of bank and waited for an hour for the food no show so phone them to be told they have no recived an order so phone bank to check money has come out and it had so they wanted code so they could cancel the transaction Phoned top wok back for code but would not give me it told me IT IS NOT MY PROBLEM

The food was absolutely freezing, the fat had separated from the sauce it was that cold🤢I tried calling 3 times but there was no answer.

The deep fried duck, was rock hard and tasted bland, could not taste the duck. The seaweed which was wrapped around it was spicy, how can you have spicy seaweed???? The wontons were ok. It cost £41- extortion! I will never order from them again
