The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Birmingham West Midlands

Fantastic food, lamb madras was spot on, lamb very tender and the sauce was the best I’ve had! Masala chips and peshwari naan also great! Great pub too! Will return

my old "favourite chinese takeaway" changed hands a couple of years ago and the food wasn't the same. Have tried a few others in the area in recent months and haven't been impressed. Re-tried Lee Garden the other week (after about 10 yrs) and have to say the dishes are spot on. Definately my "new favourite" now

Love this place and I'm here as often as I can (and can get a table). It's cash only with just amazing food. I had the bandung and some nasi goreng but can report that past visits have been just as delightful with different dishes. Writing this makes me think that I might just go for lunch today!

Fantástica experiencia gastronómica informal, excepcionalmente buena comida con una gran elección en el menú con un anfitrión muy amable y servicial, recomendaría hacer una visita y cenar aquí.

Gran té y el personal muy amable también el precio es muy bueno para el té el sabor siempre está en su punto, así que vale la pena el precio

Wonderful freshly prepared food, served piping hot and quickly. The owners were so friendly and take justifiable pride in their excellent food. 11/10. just fantastic

Not very good .First and last time here some items missing and not very nice tasting food

I’ve been here 4 times and on each occasion the food has been excellent, though It’s sometimes hit and miss with the staff. On our first couple of visits the waitresses couldn’t have been more helpful. They advised what would go with what, made up a dipping sauce and were happy to make suggestions. However, a couple of weeks ago we were greeted with what could only be described as apathy from both the waitress and the gent at the counter. Luckily a young couple on a neighbouring table were more than happy to advise. So, no problems with the food, but you take your chances with the staff. Also, not sure about the £16-£24 guide given in the price range. Meal for two was about £65.... but I will be going again.

Al azar decidimos probar este restaurante ya que queríamos probar un lugar diferente en Chinatown. ¡Qué feliz lo hicimos! El servicio fue excelente, muy acogedor y servicial. Fuimos por los platos de sopa de fideos, ambos platos que pedimos eran muy sabrosos y las raciones eran muy generosas. Se nota que la comida se cocina con cuidado y utiliza ingredientes auténticos. También adaptan las especias de cada plato a su preferencia, lo cual fue un buen toque. Buena selección de bebidas también! ¡Sin duda volveremos!

Always fantastic food at reasonable prices. Family business.

We always eat at Kopitiam whenever we visit Birmingham. They serve authentic Malaysian food. The food is delicious and its portion is generous. Our favourites are char kway teow, curry mee, hor fun in creamy egg, and rojak. As a special treat we had ice kacang before but this is no longer in their main menu. So, you will be lucky if they serve it on the day you visit them. The restaurant usually takes cash only. But you may be able to transfer them if you don't carry cash.

BEST Cantonese takeaway in Birmingham. Family been using them for years! They NEVER disappoint! Thank you for free fortune cookies i honestly appreciate. Big portions, Great quality, amazing prices and most importantly no matter what the weather is, the food is always FRESH FRESH FRESH. Staff are friendly as always and the delivery driver always on time and has a smile. This restaurant will always have my support.🥳

It can be said to be a gathering place for Hong Kong people, and most of the diners are Hong Kong people. There are only three restaurants opened by Hong Kong people in the food court, namely: Siu Mei, Cha Kee, and Xiao Chao. The overall portions are sufficient, but the food quality is not stable, so it is still acceptable.

Love the food from here, the curries are proper plate fillers, even without rice lol, friendly service and nice people.

Tuvimos un gran tiempo aquí; buena comida, gran ambiente y gran hospitalidad. Desde la llegada hasta la salida, el personal nos cuidó mucho. Todo lo que pedimos llegó en cinco minutos. El personal era muy sensible y rápido en recargar nuestras bebidas, proporcionándonos cubiertos / vajilla adicional con cada pedido, y limpiando platos vacíos de nuestra mesa. Fue en general una gran relación calidad-precio también.
