The best restaurants serving British food in Town Merthyr Tydfil South Wales

Lovely homely pub, perfect atmosphere with a warm fire and to top it off the food was excellent. Would definately recommend as we are not from the area, but will certainly come back. Ps. the chips are amazing!

Food was awful, hard chips and cold hard pie, expensive for size of meal, child’s portion. Very disappointing, wouldn’t go here again

Decent little pub. Downstairs is a bit small but overall a nice place

typical pub fayre in general, although the carvery proved a change from the norm , cant be that bad as we had it twice on consecutive days
