Fantastic meal, Massive portions ( first time in years I haven't managed to clear my plate) please dont think they subsistute quality over quantity. The haggis bon bons are fantastic, the park bar burger is banging, and the jalapeño nachos are well worth a try. Great for a pint, too. Dogs are allowed in the bar area. Already booked my next meal. Back again , I've had every burger on the menu. Can't find fault in any of them. They're all delicious. I really must mention how great the staff are. Everyone is friendly, professional and welcoming. They really make you feel at home

Visited just this evening with my husband and 2 sons. Firstly we where asked our drinks order as soon as we where in, but then we waited about 30 minutes to be asked our food order and that’s only after we asked the staff to come take the order. We ordered 4 mains and 2 starters, starters where lovely but the mains where awful, the steak pie was full of fat and the homemade chips where over cooked, the Cajun pasta all you could taste was the Cajun powder, the lusset burger was pink all round the edges and when I said to the staff their excuse was that it’s red dye that’s added into the meat to make it look better! Never heard such a ridiculous excuse I mean instead of just apologising! Lastly the lasagne tasted like cheap meat and was more sauce and cheese than anything. Won’t be returning

Went for lunch and very dull inside. Was a lovely sunny day but no where to sit outside and enjoy a drink

Great chippie, good portions and the prices of the food are reasonable. The staff are friendly and cheery. The takeaway is always clean and bright. You don't need to wait long on your order, except when you are getting it delivered, which can take a while. Can't comment on the restaurant area as we haven't been to it for a long time. We would recommend McMonagles to all.

Visited with my adult daughter for a cheeky wee Friday night pint but succumbed to the gorgeous aroma of food surrounding us and decided to order. We opted to share 3 starters and a side of proper handcut chips. Chicken in tempura batter (mouthwatering), salt n chilli chicken strips and a huge bowl of topped nachos (with proper cheddar cheese!) The nachos weren't even the large portion. Everything was delicious, piping hot and very filling. The dishes were nicely presented with really tasty salad garnish. Great attentive service throughout from Alex and Amy who were totally on the ball. Duty manager John's quick witty banter added entertainment to our visit. Excellent value for money and worth every penny. Overall a great experience and we will definitely be back very soon. Highly recommended!

The food has always been great. Perfect portion size & crispy batter. My faves are the fritters & single fish. Very friendly & polite delivery guy. Highly recommended.
