Honestly it's a great wee place, I'm obsessed with their Mango slushies and I can't stop going back, the cakes are home made and my parents love them, and the food is amazing 😍 if you live locally you need to try it, otherwise you're missing out.

We had another nice breakfast and the staff were friendly and chatty as usual, just a bit sad it will probably be our last 😢

Un buen café poco, que hace un rugiente comercio de comida para llevar. Cada vez que hemos estado allí a la hora del almuerzo, siempre hay una cola para su sopa y rollos que son muy buenos y a un precio razonable.

My mum has been diagnosed with caelics disease, and uts been hard to find places to eat. I called the waterwheel and the staff were so friendly and informative. When we arrived we were shown to our table and my mum was given a double sided gluten free menu. She was over the moon. There was so much choice, and we returned the next week to try something else on the menu. Well done, Waterwheel

I can't understand some of these bad reviews, we had drinks and food here on a few occasions and then to just as equal to other Wetherspoons. Regarding the staff I thought that they were extremely friendly especially the young girl with short gingery hair with tattoos ( sorry I didn't catch her name) This pub is in a great spot, ideal for the train station, near the river front and not far from the city center. Much different than the Counting House in George Square which is a much different look with being in an old grand building. The Crystal Palace has a modern look with both upstairs and downstairs. Well done to the staff who made us very welcome.
