Ordered at the counter and sat at the only available table. Table was uncleared from previous occupants dishes and crumbs. Sat like that for 10 minutes until the food appeared. One lady lifted the dishes without saying a single word. It was like a silent admonishment for sitting at an unprepared table. The other lady then sat down the food. The crumbs and bits were left unwiped and the table uncleaned. Used to be our favourite Carrick cafe, not any more. Terrible attitude and poor standard of cleanliness.

Gekozen voor de lunch, een heerlijk stuk vis geserveerd met krieltjes en een slaatje. Vriendelijke bediening in een gezellig ongedwongen kader dit samen met de collega's. We komen hier zeker terug

Great wee hotel, lovely food, Guinness and staff. The shower was next to useless but the whole experience was great.

Hadn't been in 5 years as last time was very disappointed. Small portions, husband had fish and chips. They only had fries with the skins on no ordinary chips. He left most of his fish, didn't seem fresh and it had the skin on. My burger had some lettuce, 3 small chicken goujons a slice of tomato and 1 strip of red onion. The coleslaw was tasteless and mayo was watery. With cokes it cost £32.77, it was not good value and definitely won't be returning.

This is situated at the back of the Carrickfergus civic and museum centre, and we came across it whilst making a brief stop for lunch before catching a ferry. Three of us opted for the Glasshouse no meat fry and it was absolutely delicious!! The soda and potato bread was especially good. The young man who served us was lovely and we were happy to have accidentally discovered this place and enjoy a great meal in a great space. Whilst here, we also popped in to the museum in the same building.
