Stayed here with friends over several nights.the property needs urgent refurbishment and staff retraining. Receptionist and night porter together with the waiter in the Fat Abbot all haveappalling attitudes and create a very poor impression .All were extremely unhelpful and appeared to dislike their jobs which reflects in their service

The Olivia Swan was a delightful place to stay! The rooms were spacious and spotless, and the manager went out of their way to be helpful and welcoming. The well-equipped kitchenette was much appreciated. Having parking available so close to the city centre was a real bonus, especially with York’s usual parking fees. Plus, the charming pub downstairs added a lively touch to the experience. All in all, the Olivia Swan made our short trip to York even more enjoyable.
