Lovely pub, staff were very attentive and helpful. Good garden with separate part for children. Good menu Dog friendly

The venue is appointed the process of changing ownership. As a result, when we called there was a very limited menu, and they stopped taking food orders at 8pm - but no-one told us ! OK, when we told the guy working the bar that it was supposed to be a family birthday meal, he managed to rustle up some form of dessert with a candle on it. But really, that was a minor positive among a host of negatives. We have been to the White Swan many times in the past for family meals, but we won't be going in future.

Good - dog friendly. Portion size ok, 1/3 of items on menu were not available. Only veg were frozen peas. Mash was like water ( probably smash). Sausages were awful and so was the gravy. Hunter’s chicken had a drizzle of sauce. Generally food really sub standard, couldn’t get any coffee after meal and staff were never around. Asked for tea when we arrived and it came with 2 sachets of UHT milk!!! A big no no in my book. This is something you expect from a service station not a restaurant

Website says sandwiches, jackets & light lunches Monday to Friday/Saturday. Not true. No food served on Monday. Why say you do when you don’t & please don’t tell me “no love, we don’t do food on Monday”. I am not your love.

The White Swan recently catered my mother's funeral wake and the attention we received couldn't have been more friendly, helpful and reassuring. The food was very nice and plentiful, the room they gave us was cosy and the hosts service was tactful but attentive.

Lovely little inn, the owners were very friendly and kind. The room was great! Very spacious and comfortable with an ensuite bathroom. Would 100% stay here again in the future. The food in the pub below was to die for. Home cooked and served nicely. Prices definitely reflect quality (and cheaper than).

We stayed here for two nights. The room was clean, spacious and warm. The room had an en-suite which was very clean. The room had towels, tea and coffee facilities and a flat screen tv. We used the bar for food and drink which was great. We had a excellent evening meal as well as a great breakfast.

We came here for Christmas day dinner. The staff were lovely and so was the food. It was very good value for money and the dinner was huge. We are so stuffed 😊 We are hoping to come back next Christmas.

Lovely cosy pub and the room was great for us and our dogs. The food wasn’t great. Not as described as on the menu. Prawn cocktail described with cucumber and wedge of lemon and brown bread. There was no cucumber or lemon and it came with white bread. The loaded fries were anything but loaded with hardly any pulled pork. When I questioned where the crispy onions and chives were as stated on the menu the lady said she didn’t know and made no attempt to find out. I would stay there again but eat elsewhere

Luckily I'm not a person who judges from a review. But having seen a recent review which was amongst loads of good ones I thought I would give it a try. My self and my partner both had chicken supreme burgers, they was absolutely gorgeous. Served with fries on mine and upgraded to sweet potato fries for Michelle, both with burger sauce and a jug of chicken gravy. Would definitely recommend. Pleasant experience with friendly staff who when you talk to can have banter with, we called in at 545pm and didn't end up leaving till 1045pm.

Very unhappy unfriendly experience, food was burnt and not served as advertised on menu when we asked they knew nothing about it, chicken burgers come with burger sauce no only 1 person got this as they ran out but didn’t tell us until we asked knew nothing about it coming with chicken gravy had to show them the menu to which they replied oh we don’t have any! The plates didn’t get cleared away for the whole time we were there despite moving our plates eventually onto another table and the pub being very quiet only a few locals in didn’t check or ask if our food was ok then on leaving didn’t say bye or thank you! Very pricey and very tacky out of date Christmas decorations up!! Man behind bar pouring pints for himself all night will not return nor recommend shocking service and food not food not great! Avoid.

went to york to watch the football and needed some place to stay ! prices in york are quite high but found this lovely little pub/b and b just out side of york about 10 mins in a taxi.rooms are well priced,clean and very comfortable.it has recently got new owners,who we found were very helpful and friendly.breakfast is an extra £10 but great value for money.if im in the area would stay here again !

Stayed here for a few days for a get-away with my wife, we enjoyed how close the location was to York and how affordable it was for a long weekend-esque break away, £150 for three nights for a couple offer perfect opportunity to experience as much of York as you wish, or explore the surrounding areas. The staff there are lovely people, treating you more like a friend than anything else, very welcoming and free with their smiles. We only had breakfast on one of the days, it was £10 each person, the English breakfast was a good size, came out in good time, with cereal, tea and fruit juices on the side if you wanted them. The rooms had a homely feel to me due to the decor so I may be biased here, but from the one room I saw, it was a great size for two people, little kettle for tea and coffee, a large queensize bed and ensuit, with plenty of storage space this room is perfect for storing your clothes and treasures and having a comfortable night, the only downside is the main road out front which can get noisy in peak times.. however the times you will be sleeping here it is much quieter so it's mostly irrelevant. I slept well and so did my wife. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a cheap, enjoyable stay away, with plenty of experiences to offer

Needed a last minute stopover for access to York. Dead easy to book, dead easy to find. Got in just after time for food, but they prepared to order anyway. Staff are friendly, efficient and made us very comfortable. Clean room, food was fine - problem only that the quantities were generous! Attractive pricing, ten minutes out from the city - a perfect spot for what we were after. Definitely a thumbs up from us.

Visited when we stayed at the Parsonage Hotel, a short walk down the road although not well lit up in winter it was only 15 minutes walk away. The food was very nice as a vegetarian there was plenty of choice i picked the 3 bean chilli which was really nice and my husband had fish and twice cooked chips which were very nice. Staff were freindly especially impressed with the chef who came to talk to us and tell us of unavailable ingredients and came to ask our opinions after the meal. Would recommend highly

We have been having a meal here every year when staying locally, although changing hands, the meal was lovely yet again. We had the cheese burger and fish & chips. Both cooked fresh and served piping hot. Only 'complaint' is portions were too big. Staff were weloming and friendly with the chef spending some time chatting to us. All being well, look forward to returning next year.

Bar staff/ waiter was really pleasant. The food was great, I was just a solo eater, I had the Stilton burger and it was really tasty and the patty’s cooked bang on. The chips were done perfect. After reading the great reviews I decided to buy a Groupon and booked the 2 course meal .. We came today and I have to say i am so disappointed in the food and the waitress .. She put my plate in front of me with the Sunday lunch and I had to move the plate towards me not knowing it was burning hot. She failed to advise us of the temperature of the plates and I had to immediately put my fingers in my drink as a blister was appearing.. She offered me a plaster !!! When I order a Sunday roast I expect the meat to look like it has been carved and not vacuum packed beef and gammon, which it obviously was . The roast potatoes obviously had just come out of a microwave as the was no crunch and soggy andthe gravy was thin and runny ... The best part of the dinner was the mash potatoes. I am extremely disappointed, I left the dinner and had to eat elsewhere and I have a blister on my finger as a reminder of today's visit .

Visitamos octubre de 2020 y tuvimos un trato de dos noches con una cena de un plato y una copa de vino la primera noche, oferta de Groupon. Nuestra habitación era estupenda, con una cama super king muy cómoda, un precioso cuarto de baño con una gran ducha. Debido a Covid, no había menaje para preparar té o café en la habitación, pero al registrarnos en Roman, el propietario dijo que solo teníamos que preguntar y que nos proporcionaría bebidas calientes. Nuestra cena fue preciosa. . . Ambos optamos por pastel de carne, puré y verduras con salsa. Era una porción considerable y muy sabrosa y además teníamos una copa de vino en la oferta. Relación calidad-precio fabulosa. El desayuno era perfecto con un menú de comida caliente para elegir, además de cereales y zumos de frutas, té, café, etc. El tocino y las salchichas eran de muy buena calidad, además de su elección de huevos, morcilla, champiñones, tomates, papas fritas y tostadas, etc. Lamentablemente, debido a un duelo familiar no pudimos quedarnos la segunda noche, pero sin duda volveremos a visitarlo. Excelente ubicación con una parada de autobús a York justo afuera del Inn oa 5 minutos en automóvil del Designer Outlet Park & Ride to York. El aparcamiento es gratuito en la posada. Lo recomiendo completamente.

Hoy llamamos según las especificaciones y recibimos una cálida bienvenida. El lugar estaba limpio y ordenado con un montón de desinfectante para manos, etc. disponible.La comida era deliciosa. Yo comí la del labrador y mi marido comió la hamburguesa de bistec, que fue una de las mejores que jamás había probado.Si volvemos a estar en la zona, no dudaríamos en volver a llamar.

Nos quedamos una noche antes del bautizo. La habitación estaba muy limpia y la cama era excepcionalmente cómoda. La ropa de cama era de muy buena calidad, como es de esperar en un hotel mucho más caro. Las paredes deben ser finas como el papel entre las habitaciones, ya que en un lado (con la puerta de conexión) podíamos escuchar toda la conversación y el programa de televisión de nuestros vecinos como si estuvieran en la misma habitación. También pudimos escuchar a alguien roncando muy fuerte cuando estábamos a punto de dejarnos? ¡dormir! Para ser honesto, no sé qué podrían hacer los propietarios, ya que probablemente sea el diseño de un edificio antiguo. Había bastante ruido de la carretera, por lo que si tiene el sueño ligero, probablemente sea mejor pedir una habitación en la parte trasera del edificio, pero vivimos en una calle principal hacia una ciudad importante, por lo que no fue particularmente irritante para nosotros. Las habitaciones son básicas pero tienen todo lo que necesita, excepto que debido a que el té y el café Covid 19 solo está disponible a pedido, en realidad no obtuvimos ninguno porque la única vez que bajamos al bar a pedir un poco, no había nadie alrededor, pero estoy seguro de que si hubiera sido más paciente, el personal me habría complacido.También comimos en una oferta grupal allí por la noche. Pub de campo encantador. La habitación era muy cómoda con una cama enorme. Parada de autobús fuera ya 20 minutos del centro de la ciudad de York con autobuses cada 15 minutos.Mi anfitrión Roman fue muy acogedor y nada fue un problema. La comida era casera y porciones generosas a precios muy razonables. Definitivamente volveremos y se lo recomendaría a amigos.

While in York for a short break my wife and I had a meal at the White Swan using a Groupon voucher. we were greeted by a very friendly owner, who explained the covid guidelines. The tables inside availbel to use were well spaced out, and full requirements met by the pub . The food was excellent- I had hoemade steak pie, mash, and veg. The crumble was delicious. The portion sizes are generous. Given it was early evening on Tuesday, there were about 6 couples eatng there while we were at The White Swan which is a good sign. When we are next in York we will certainly eat again at the White Swan. Thorougly recommend.

Great affordable place serving quality local produce.Had the terrine you’re start was really tasty followed by the homemade steak pie was delicious.My partner had the mushroom York is to start followed by the homemade steak burger she said it’s one of the best burgers she’s ever had.We finished by sharing the triple chocolate brownie which was outstanding.

Had a Groupon voucher which was great value.Rooms are clean and warm.Breakfast was freshly cooked and there was loads.The Manager was lovely and very accommodating. We had food at lunch time which was freshly prepared and tasted delicious. The home made chips are to die for.

We found an offer on groupon and contacted the White Swan directly.The staff were very helpful and accommodating and we booked direct.We were greeted by a very helpful young lady who was very helpful.The room we stopped in was a deluxe room on the front of the hotel over looking the road.There was little road noise but we expected that.The room was comfortable and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in.We had an evening meal and the food was very nice and could not fault it.Breakfast was 1st class, a good choice of cereals, orange juice, and tea or coffee.Also a good choice of cooked breakfast, which is cooked to order and was probably the best I have ever had.For the price we paid we could not fault the hotel and would definitely stop again

This is a county type pub out of the city centre. We arrived around 10am and left the car in the pub car park and took the bus into York - bus stop almost outside the door and the service (415) runs every 15mins. Cost was £3.20 each for return journey, much less than parking in the city. Very clean room and breakfast was good.

My wife and I stayed here on 19th January for two nights. We were breaking a journey between Berkshire and Scotland and love Yorkshire. We had a Groupon Deal and we thought the hotel was good value for money. The room was fully functional, had a comfy bed and a powerful, hot shower. We had two breakfasts a Sunday Lunch and an evening meal - all of which were delicious. The staff are warm and friendly - we were welcomed with a complementary drink and the service throught was excellent. There is not a lot at Deighton but within easy driving distance is York and a bit further away Ripon and Thirsk and a gem of a place caslled Easingwold.

Nos alojamos por un descanso de fin de semana y encontramos que todos en el White Swan eran cálidos y amables. La comida que tuvimos fue deliciosa, desayunos y cenas, y se lo recomendaríamos a cualquiera y sin duda nos alojaremos de nuevo si volvemos a visitar York.

Great little place to stay, I had cod and chips and the better half had the scampi which she enjoyed. Rooms are comfortable and very clean, good value for the price.Taxi fare to York was about £14, which was great value so I could leave the car parked up and not worry about parking or having a mulled wine or two. There are bus stops close by if needed.Beds very comfortable and as our room was at the rear we never heard the traffic.Would definitely stay again.

We visited here on the way back from York, the pub was quiet, it was about 2ish! The lady serving behind the bar was really pleasant and welcoming. The lunch menu was small but something which would suit everyone. I had a steak burger and chips and my boyfriend had the steak and ale pie! Both lovely meals and really good value for money! Really nice home made chips! We would definitely come back and recommend to our friends!!

Cama cómoda, buena comida, cena y desayuno, personal agradable, pero frío comedor, edificio muy descuidado y una sensación de que el lugar no es amado. Nuestra habitación estaba bien, aunque me hubiera gustado un secador de pelo. Habíamos leído el ruido de la carretera, pero el acristalamiento secundario no hizo nada para atenuar el ruido, una ventana externa estaba rota y los marcos de madera estaban en un estado terrible. Mid week visit, therefore we were not expecting sellout, but not tumbleweed blowing.

Esta fue una encantadora posada tradicional, muy acogedora y cómoda. La habitación estaba impecable y tenía una cama realmente grande que era muy cómoda. La comida en el restaurante era excelente al igual que el vino. El personal es muy amable y servicial. El desayuno era fabuloso y recién preparado. Lo único negativo es que este Inn está en una calle principal, y como las ventanas son originales, significaba que el ruido de la carretera era realmente intrusivo. En el lado positivo, la ubicación, si la carretera hace que sea muy fácil llegar a York, tomamos el autobús para evitar la pesadilla en el estacionamiento. A pesar del camino, me quedaría otra vez ya que el personal lo hizo tan agradable

My partner and I called here for a meal on Sunday. When I rang to ask if they were doing food I was told yes, but there would be no roast beef left! No problem. I asked if they did other meals and was told yes they did, great! When we arrived, earlier than anticipated, we were told we would still have a delay in serving us, not a problem! So, we ordered our drinks and were shown to a table. The restaurant was not busy, only three other tables were occupied. The menu was brought to us and once again, were told there was no roast beef. I assumed there would be much more choice, WRONG! We were hungry but I said to my partner “shall we go, there’s nothing much I fancy and the prices are quite expensive”, not in keeping with the rather glum interior. The waitress came to take our order, so a snap decision was made to stay and see what the food was like. How I wish we had gone when I suggested it! The meal came after a wait of not too long. I had decided on the chicken Sunday roast and my partner had fish and chips. The Yorkshire pudding had either been microwaved to death, or it was an old one, or it had been left in the oven much too long (like a week!) plus it did not taste like a Yorkshire pudding at all. I asked the waitress to replace it with a fresh one. I think it was the landlord who brought over a ‘fresh’ Yorkshire pudding but asked in a rather aggressive tone “What’s wrong with it?”. The ‘fresh’ pudding was just as bad as the first. To add insult to injury, the chicken was one of those breast portions you can buy in multi packs, not a lovely crispy skinned, succulent chicken portion but a sad looking tough piece of insipid chicken. Plus, the roast potatoes did not taste good, the mash potato was lumpy and the gravy water thin! All in all, it was just the veg that tasted like veg and were at least edible. The fish my partner had was ‘o.k.’ but he didn't clear his plate. Needless to say, we did not stay for dessert or coffee. I wanted to complain before paying the extortionate bill but my partner asked me not to bother, we would just never return! If the food had been of good quality, the price would have been acceptable but still, quite dear. My goodness, we eat out a lot at various price establishments but I have never, NEVER, had such a disgusting meal in my life!

This was a Groupon, so excellent value with a 2 course meal and wine for two costing just over £20. The lady wjho served us was very cheerful and friendly and the food arrived quickly, was freshly made so nice and hot, and a large plateful. We were full but managed to squeeze in a lovely desert each as well. Would highly recommend!

Forgetting it was York Races busiest weekend the only place I could book was the White Swan for a room.

Food good eventually, but despite choosing menu and sending choices by email, they were not expecting us even though we booked a month earlier. However, as I also took the list of what we wanted, they took it from us and served in a reasonable time.

We spent one night at the White Swan in Deighton in Aug 2019. When we drove up the outside looked rather tired an shabby but the reviews were good so....We had the Grindlegate room at the front of the pub; the secondary double glazing restricted the road noise, but if you wanted fresh air you got plenty of traffic noise The room was of average size, with a very small ensuite. The floorboards squeaked and you could hear noise from the bar and other rooms. The room was clean but tired, and could do with a little TLC especially in the shower room.The landlord was very friendly and helpful, we had bar snacks which were ok. It appears a lot of their business is done via Groupon deals so their rack rate prices maybe on the high side to offer better discounts, but not so good if you are booking independently. If the £65 per night rate had included breakfast then it would have been a reasonable deal. One final point - it is the first time I have found a hotel with a website that you need to register for, and then be invited to sign up to. I always thought the purpose of a website was to welcome potential clients, not discourage them!

We spent two days at the White Swan in Deighton on the 21st July 2019. We had the room at the front of the pub and did need earplugs for the traffic noise. The bed was large and the TV small! Plenty of space for a two day break. This was clean but could do with a little TLC especially in the shower room. The pub is nicely laid out and a room sett for food. Unfortunately at the time we went it was very quiet and not much atmosphere. The food I have to say we found very average. The plus side is that there is a bus outside every 15 mins into York and a very nice journey. There is a hotel a short walk away and a nice food pub called The Fat Abbott worth a stroll. This break was on a Groupon and for the cost it was good value so don’t be put off but don’t expect 5*.

The accommodation was very clean and the bed was very comfy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would suggest to book a table for a meal early as it gets very busy. We just managed to get a table. The price of the meal was very reasonable. My husband had the pie but he found it too salty but they were good portion sizes.

This accommodation is perfect for visiting York. There is a bus stop outside the hotel that takes you into the centre of York or there is a Park and Ride not far away. We received a very warm welcome from Danielle who loked after us very well during our stay and her daughter cooked us a delicious breakfast. The ensuite room was comfortable and clean. We ate at the pub on one of our two nights there and the food was excellent.

This hotel is situated at the side of a very busy road, and our room was facing it. We had the windows open as it was a very hot night and the noise was unbearable and resulted in broken sleep. We had the fish and chips Friday Special at lunchtime which was exceptionally good, but we felt that other dishes were over priced for what is really just a pub. The bar was not very well stocked, we asked for a couple of everyday drinks that they didnt have, the excuse being that this is not a 'drinking' pub. Located in the middle of not very much, we felt the rate of £70 for room only was on the high side, although I have to say the bed was huge, and extremely comfortable, and the staff got full marks.

Friendly, welcoming staff. Evening meal was well presented, large portions. We just had the main course and could not have eaten a dessert. I had the lasagne which was excellent, served with salad and garlic bread. My husband had slow-cooked beef and ale pie, mash and veg. which was also excellent. Our bedroom was very nicely decorated with a huge comfortable bed, and en-suite with "walk-in" shower. Bus stops to York and Selby are outside the hotel.

We love the walk to the swan on the old railway track especially when the sun is out, but what has happened to the menu and ale, only one ale, and one veggie option, and rubbish chips, it has gone down hill why? Needs to improve for us to visit instead of going to the fat abbot down the road ,

When we visited it was obvious that the only diners were on Groupon discounts. No wonder. As a public house they had no draught ales. In fact, only one beer. Whilst our starters where reasonable. These were prawn cocktail and chicken strips. However, the mains was not. The stated handcut chips tasted like frozen being hard with no colour or taste. I had the gammon which was a thin slice which was hard to cut and not enjoyable. Scampi was in itself passable. Delays bedtween courses was 30 mins. Dire - Not to be recommended. Also inflated prices. Soup as a starter was dearer tghat any hotel at £7.00. Only one person serving restaurant and bar..

Visited early Sunday evening with a Groupon voucher for two courses and a glass of wine.The service was excellent.Both meals were well presented and good quality food and large portions would visit again.

First of all the Groupon price at £51 is wrong. The actual menu price for two for Sunday lunch is about £30 but even at Groupon prices £19 is not particularly cheap.

We stayed here in July on a 2 night Groupon deal. Staff were friendly and welcoming, food is excellent, cooked by the owner and chef Roman. Our room was clean, well equipped with a huge, comfortable bed, tea making facilities and lots of storage space. The small bathroom had an efficient walk in shower but would benefit from a couple of hooks behind the door. Although next to the busy A19, road noise was shut out when the window was closed. The only slight problem was our door rattled every time the door at the bottom of the stairs was shut. With a slight adjustment to the closing mechanism on the doors they would perhaps be a bit quieter.

Lovely bar area, bar food area and dining area. Comfortable seating, not too crowded. The lady serving us was absolutely fabulous - good fun, friendly, attentive but not overpowering. Food wAs amazing. Great value. Plenty of parking

Muy bonita habitación en la parte delantera con baño, etc. Excelente ubicación para tiendas de diseñadores y la misma York, parada de autobús cerca de pub a outlet y York. . Menú de almuerzo / cena encantador y gran desayuno. El gerente romano y todo su personal son increíbles. Sin duda volveremos.

This pub is a real gem. The staff were all lovely & friendly & our room was really comfortable & stylish - great decor, loads of tea & coffee (very important & it was Yorkshire Tea!) & a very comfy bed. Nice en-suite shower with toiletries & you can borrow a hairdryer if you need one. We were at the front of the building so some people could be bothered by the road noise but it didn't matter to us. We ate in the restaurant both nights we stayed & the food was excellent - the sea bass really was of restaurant standard. Breakfast was also good. What a great location! On a good bus route to the centre of York & the Designer Outlet & very handy for major road networks for sightseeing further afield. We will definitely stay here again & would highly recommend it to anyone, especially if you don't want a "corporate" hotel .Sadly the bar was often very quiet so I really hope the locals support it as too many good, original pubs are closing.

We stayed two nights on a Groupon offer including dinner and late checkout. We really enjoyed our stay which was relaxed and with many really good features mentioned later. This could so easily be a 5 star except for a few simple things that could benefit from improvement. The staff members bent over backwards to be helpful including making amends for a few missing menu items and getting some fish in specially for me for the next day - fantastic.

Stayed 2 nights,. Room clean and cosy, good size shower which dripped but could not hear it.. could hear traffic but bed was incredibly comfortable, clean and fresh linen and nice simple decor. Would have liked 2 bedside lamps not just one so room a little dark shampoo, shower gel and lotion supplied, nice touch. Breakfast had good choice with juice, cereal available and cooked options. Had full English, cooked to order and wait staff very pleasant. Evening meal also nice with good range and attentive helpful staff. Menu description did not quite match what arrived but tasty. Would definitely recommend

This is a pub on the main road (A19) so it is not quiet. However, it is large and with a small beer garden which the staff opened up for us.

Greeted by a lovely barmaid, very friendly and welcoming. Food was served piping hot and in a timely manner. Great selection of Gin and other spirits. Was convenient for our stay just down the road. It was very quiet , needed music or some kind of back ground noise. Apart from that fantastic little pub.

The service was excellent throughout. The owner and Chef (Roman) couldn't do enough for us, as did the rest of the Staff (special mention for Danielle) who were very good.The evening meal was mixed, I had the Gammon which was lovely and Pat had the Sausage and Mash but the sausage did not come up to standard, it was maybe a matter of taste. We both wanted the Steak Pie, which we had heard so much about but there was none left on both nights that we were there. We stayed for two nights on a Groupon Voucher. Breakfast was lovely and traditional but the Sausage let us down again but that was all. The second day we both ordered Omelettes, myself a Cheese and Ham and Pat a Mushroom Omelette. Both were excellent but Pats was better than mine( No criticism there though).

Had a late lunch..tasty food and friendly staff. We decided to eat here as York centre was so busy and we were staying at grimston house b & b next door..worth a trip .

Comfortable en-suite rooms, good value, a friendly welcome and good service from every member of the staff. It is also a real local, so there's a relaxed atmosphere in the bar. Breakfast was simple, fruit juice and cereals, and the cooked meals were freshly made to order. We tried the "full english" and the omelette, both options were excellent. We also had our evening meals there, good quality, good value and generous portions. I enjoyed the pie which was obviously made on the premises. Also, it's a great location for visiting York, without the usual hassle of trying to park; the bus stop is a few yards from the pub, buses are every 15 minutes and the journey time is only 15/20 minutes.
