Fantastic Full Monty, served by great and welcoming staff. Would definetly recommend to everyone!! Some great pieces on the wall, great place for bikers. Anyone thinking of going? Do it, by far the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time

Nice atmosphere and super friendly staff, the food and drink is a little overpriced and not the best quality. However, this place is clearly doing something right as it is packed. I paid £3.20 for a hot chocolate out of a machine and £2.90 for a coffee out of the same machine. Depends what you like I suppose 👍🏻

Strawberry Fields Cafe has been for years, an institution on the A19 nesr York. Breakfast menu and light brunch food done just perfectly every time. No its not some high brow eatery that looks down at you. It's some really really good wholesome food in a casual open environment. Everything is cooked perfect amd the quality of ingredients is there on the plate. Word of warning though, summer months and weekends are busy with the bikers who drive north Yorkshire so ot can get full ut if you're out and about near here and want a good quality breakfast pop in. It's really worth it

I called in because i heard so much about it. Firstly its not just a cafe for people on a motorcycle. Secondly you get to it from York down the A19 from York be careful you donot go past it. As you see the yellow folding gate on the left your there. Now the inside was full of activity it would appear everybody arenot just customers there friends. Straight away you are greeted with a smile by a proper person who cares about your visit and wants you to come back. So far so good. Then the breakfast arrived piping hot full of everthing all cooked to perfection. Was it hot all of it everything. I was asked if there was anything i would like that might make it more perfect. I said nothing thank you. All washed down with a cup of tea. Just what i was looking for. I chatted outside with some of the others who had eaten And yes everybody said they were full and visit regularily. All i can say is well done to all the staff. Your actions were a breath of fresh air to some places i have stopped for a meal Well done.

Great cafe, breakfast was perfect. It gets very busy so expect to wait a short while for your order. Worth the wait.

The food options look plenty and reasonably priced too. Drinks are about right size and price wise. The lasses there were friendly and had a smile on their faces and able to have a chat to. It was just a passing thought to stop in as riding 15 mins out of York and stopping for a drink isn't something I'd normally do, glad I did weather was fine and managed to grab a bench to enjoy my brew. Would recommend for any passing biker to try this place out over the other place.

We stopped on the odd chance that we could grab something to eat - glad we did, food was lovely and staff were extremely welcoming and we are non bikers - Top tier - Would recommend to anyone

Not been here for over 10 years. Called today for a bacon sandwich and coffee. Absolutely perfect. Could not fault anything.

Stopped for a cuppa on our bike ride, very friendly service, didn't eat but food looked really nice and seemed to be turned around pretty quickly. Soon filled up with other bikes and the car park quickly filled up. Will be back again.

The place was heaving, so breakfast was a long time coming, but was nice when it arrived

I love this place. The atmosphere is amazing and everyone is very friendly and welcoming. The decor is unique and very interesting. The food is fairly basic, but it's what I would call comfort food. The eggs are sometimes over cooked and sometimes slightly under done, although I am fussy about my eggs and this is a very minor issue and far outweighed by the positives. I am also very fussy about toilets, but Wow! I was very surprised. The decor in the toilet was a little tired, but really clean and there were additions such as female hygiene products, a full length mirror and deodorant. The staff are all really lovely and I look forward to going again.

Appears to be a family run operation, genuinely lovely staff and a nice atmosphere, very friendly and welcoming. Food and drinks were spot on, everyone was nice, we're going back this morning for breakfast instead of having it at the B&B we're staying in!

Simply dreadful, I orders a half breakfast with a black coffee. All together it was £10.15 but worth about £3. Very poor cheap ingredients.

Visited Friday 21st June 2024. Welcoming cafe with a decent choice. Husband had a breakfast and I had a bacon sandwich. Both with a cup of tea. Was very nice. Toilets are located at the side of the building, very clean. I found a mobile phone in a brown wallet type case on one of the tables outside. Flipped open the case briefly and also saw a bank card. Handed in to one of the staff. I hope the owner of the phone, gets it back.

Went to meet a biker friend, 1st time visiting here but was recommended by said friend, couldn’t stay too long as had other plans so only had a drink, met the staff and was welcomed with open arms, made to feel like I was a regular, have been told their breakfast is worth the trip alone, so will definitely be returning in the future.

Not only great food and friendly service but also caring. I left my handbag and they took care of it till I could collect it!! Fantastic! Highly recomend.

Great place really eye catching for all you bikers. Staff were really helpful we.d lost credit card and the manager bought us a cuppa while we searched. Eventually found it so had a cob and a cuppa before hitting homeward after a great break in yorkshire. Many thanks to the manageress and her staff. 5 stars all the way . Stopped on a ride out to visit a friend in York for a bite to eat nice sausage butty and the wife had a ham salad sandwich all great friendly staff and other motorcyclists visiting

I asked for an egg bacon and sausage sandwich which came in a bun, and sadly the bun didn’t last. You need stronger buns.

We popped into Strawberry Fields for the first time on Saturday, it was about 10am and comfortably busy. A mix of bikers and other visitors. It's a small café with about 7 tables of 4 inside (a couple were still free when we arrived), and around 10 picnic tables outside. Very friendly and warm atmosphere, clearly a lot of regulars that visit but we did not feel awkward visiting as newbies. A variety of cooked breakfast combos were available at the time we visited, from beans on toast to the full works; my husband had "the full monty" breakfast and was very pleased with it. Proper mugs of tea which I was pleased about! I noticed a little selection of homemade cakes/baked goods at the counter, and a specials board with proper main meals. We had our 9-month old twins with us so had our travel booster seats with us, although the lady who brought our food over mentioned they do have highchairs available, they just have to keep them in the back to save space – so if you're visiting and need a highchair just ask at the counter. The bathrooms for customers are outside, but we didn't need to use them. Would definitely visit again if we are travelling nearby and needing some food.

Out local cafe and the best in the York area ideal for bikers of all ages and sexes it very good local spot to meet up and on a Friday night a very popular Bike night where bikers get together enjoy the food on and everyone mixes talking bikes showing off there machines or just having a good get together. Lovely owner and fantastic staff all with big happy smiles makes you want to come back!!!

Asked for a cheeseburger and cheesy chips and I this has to be the only place that knows how to do cheesy chips justice ! Great place !

Great place, great staff, lovely food.

My recent visit to your restaurant was a letdown. Waited AN ENTIRE HOUR for my food, way longer than expected, and 6 people who came after us got served first. And when the food finally arrived, it was very disappointing. The tomato was uncooked, and the toast was completely burnt. Especially considering breakfast cost over £8. The whole experience was terrible!

Credit where credits due food perfect asked for runny eggs and they were spot on. Sausage really nice bacon cooked just right and how do us lorry drivers gage a brekkie fried bread and by jolly they hit a home run. Don't drive by go in I promise you will not get a better brekki Great job

Out of all the motorbike cafe's I've visited, this is definitely the best. Friendly interactive staff, decent coffee, and a cracking atmosphere. Instantly made to feel welcome and had some good photos taken of my bike whilst i was there too. Will definitely return 🏍💨.

This was my first visit, I was really happy with my sausage and mushroom sandwich, the sausage was well cooked and the mushrooms were absolutely perfect, really friendly staff, I will be going there more often now I know how good the food is, and there are plenty of spaces for motorbikes to park out front

I can't believe I've never been before! The staff were lovely and made my son who is autistic and really funny with food the best cheese toastie ! He ate it all which is rare ! I had a coffee, piping hot 🔥 highly recommended
