This is our second visit - originally found it when we were sent to the doctors practice next door and today had a Birthday breakfast. Great soft poached eggs on toast. Creamy coffee latte too. Friendly team. Will definitely call again. Appears to be a busy cafe.

We ordered from the festive menu and I was disappointed. I have the pork which was stringy and I could not chew it. I ordered a side order of sprouts at an extra cost and was surprised to discover they were frozen sprouts, I expected fresh given the price. My friends had Turkey and a veg option and were satisfied with their meals.

Great food, good atmosphere. Best steak we've had and we've been to Miller and Carter. Our waitress Brooke was amazing, funny, attentive and so so friendly.

Went here on Friday with my partner, and I ordered a double bacon and cheese burger, and my OH had the rump steak. The food arrived reasonably quickly, which is not always the case at this pub, but sadly, it all quickly went downhill from there. My fries were literally luke warm, and the burger was so dried out that you could have bounced it on the floor! "I'll wait for the check back," I thought and let them know about the issues then. Five minutes, ten minutes, and still no check back (this seems to be a regular occurrence at this pub; give you your food and leave you to make the best of it. Check backs seem as scarce as parking spaces at Crystal Peaks during the Christmas rush!). Well, I ate as much as I could, with each mouthful of burger requiring a swig of lager to facilitate its journey down my food pipe. At the end of our meal, our dirty plates remained on our table for 40 mins before the duty manager collected them (unsurprisingly, he didn't ask how our food had been either but then he barely managed to make eye contact so I guess we shoukd have been thankful for small mercies). Having been a regular at this pub for nigh on 20 years, since the new general manager took over, it really has gone downhill. What a shame 😢
