Great little pub, welcoming with good beer, can't ask for more

I live in a village which is 10 miles round trip to morrisons in boroughbridge, yet again another wasted journey, empty boxes on shelves, hardly any toilet rolls,lots of items with no prices,untidy items on the shelves.over the past month I have had a wasted shopping trip nearly every week, well morrisons you have done me a great favour.....I now buy my milk straight from the farm (with no bovaer),all my vegetables from a local veg cart,and all my meat from the village butchers, which is 100% better quality and at no more extra cost, my other non food items will be bought elsewhere, I cannot understand why does the manager not address these problems, reading through the reviews I'm not the only unhappy customer ,after 10 years of shopping there,I won't be going back again

Called after reading good reviews for a family lunch, knocked on front door at 12.00 no answer then tried to ring no answer. Went round back to try rear door looked inside nobody to be seen. Gave it up as a bad job and went to another pub. Very dissapointing.

States they serve food they don't ot didn't for us

Este es el mejor pub en el que he estado en un tiempo. El personal es encantador y su selección es excelente. Debo admitir que al entrar me horroricé con sus clientes ya que uno de ellos tenía un león mascota el otro corría por ahí como un chimpancé y el último era su majestad el rey. Lo cual fue increíble si no estaba usando a Vera cada 5 minutos. Había un hombre extraño sentado en este asiento y gritaba a cualquiera en la circunferencia de su asiento que incluso tenía una etiqueta con su nombre. Pero todos juntos fantástico pub y gente (lucy). un gran lugar para venir como alternativa más barata en lugar del zoo.

We stayed in Stillington 3 nights exploring York and the coast, Needed to find a nice Pub meal for Saturday evening before heading home and WHAT a surprise it was . The atmosphere, the people and the food was unbelievable, flavor , portions, prices ❤️ we could not finishing our trip in a better way
