The best restaurants serving British food in Shipston Stratford-on-Avon West Midlands

In the past this has been a great place for Sunday roast but sadly not any more. One of our party received a slither of pork. Another was so underwhelmed by roast options they just ate a starter. Vegetarian option butternut squash which is hardly adequate and just a plate of vegetables with no protein for £20. Someone needs a word with the chef and/or owner. Cold Yorkshire puddings and gravy the consistency of stock. Style over substance and woefully inadequate. The Bower House do no seem to respond to reviews so shows how little the opinion of their customers matter.

Love Mrs Brown's, we had a superb full English breakfast this morning, even the grandchildren throughly enjoyed it . Great food, great service.

Lovely friendly and cosy pub. Great selection of meals and beer, all fairly priced. Easily my favourite pub in Shipston.

The whole place was very atmospheric, with images of the media adorning the walls. The staff were most welcoming and hospitable; serving a hearty breakfast, that was well cooked and very good value for money. The full breakfast contained items many establishments charge extra for. Well done!

I play darts once a week here and love it .

This place is nothing like the pictures which are clearly from the previous occupants. This place is falling apart. The rooms are nothing like what is on their website. I walked in and walked straight back out!
