The best restaurants serving British food in Hall Green Birmingham West Midlands

Just enjoyed the nicest fish & chips we’ve had in years! Always rated The Plaice anyway, but these were another level good! Really fresh and delicious - great service too.

Food was very good but the portion sizes are an absolute joke, I work for the company and was not happy with them at all. I paid for 2 starters and wanted them in one bowl and for what I paid for was absolutely horrendous. Quality was good and service was reasonably fast.

Often visit here on a Sunday as local to us. Food is always really fresh with lots of choice & service is always great. Same on this occasion. 5 meats available, salmon en croute was really good & multiple vegetable options. We were served by Fred (like many times before). So helpful & great service.

we have family that live close so always agree to meet at this pub- and we’re never disappointed. the most reasonably priced for food and drinks, deals on everyday, staff always friendly and polite- they can’t do enough for the kids when we’re there.

SOOO good, can tell it's quality & fresh, I shouldn't be able to eat that much but it's so nice you just keep going lol. Not sure why I haven't tried until recently but have a few times now & definitely best in the area👍
