I came here for the first time a few days ago and we definitely won't be back. The food was overpriced for what it was, there were items missing from one plate and when pointed out, there was no apology, although the waitress did go and fetch the missing items. The older waitress working was very chavvy and looked like she didn't want to be at work that day. A really unpleasant person to have to look at, while I was there. I didn't want the people on my table to be served by her, but unfortunately you don't get to choose your server. The younger waitress was perfectly fine though. The older, chavvy waitresses' aura was enough to put me off going again and I definitely won't be back. That, and the food wasn't great and not worth the money paid. Why aren't vegetables or salad served with all meals? How strange. The restaurant/pub itself had a cosy feel to it and the toilets were great. The atmosphere in the pub area was very working class and not for me at all. Perhaps the diners could be separated from the drinkers? I'd like to see some staff there that aren't chavvy, as it really puts those from a higher class off and I think that's a shame, as I'm sure your establishment could benefit from profiting more.

I booked Edwards for my mums 80th Birthday and can honestly say it was amazing. I pre ordered afternoon tea. Nothing was too much bother for them they sorted a table for 8 in the corner which we were allowed to decorate. My mum thoroughly enjoyed it along with friends and family. A big shout out to Natasha who was backwards and forwards with refills and anything else we needed Thank YOU.

A unique little cafe in the heart of erdington inside a beautiful furniture shop, a lovely hidden gem. The staff a young girl i believed was called Natasha was an absolute treat she went above and beyond with excellent service and manners and nothing was to much for her a real credit to Cookes and to Edwards, myself and other members of my group would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

We absolutely love this place… been a customer for as long as it has been open.. approximately 15 years. The service is great, the food is freshly cooked and well presented and the atmosphere is lovely.
