Lovely cafe food was lovely reasonably priced and the staff are really friendly they also have started opening on a sunday now

Nice friendly staff, plenty of soft drinks, cold drinks and hot drink availability. Food is nice, staff are very hospitable. The staff seem very happy and smiley which adds to the lovely atmosphere.

A cheap and cheerful cafe. The food here is nice and you get plenty on your plate . Not much for vegetarians or vegans although they do Jacket potatoes: veggies burger and a vegetarian breakfast but only one option per category. I would of liked more choice

Very pleasant and friendly staff, and a good and varied menu to boot. Food is very good also, not greasy, etc. Also a clean and well kept establishment. Would definitely recommend trying this cafe if you are ever in the Erdington area of Birmingham.

If you want a nicely cooked meal that is reasonably priced the Golden Cafe is a good choice. I have been there a few times and have never been disappointed. Any of the breakfast choices are a good option. Even the eggs on toast I had today were perfectly cooked and presented. The staff are polite and always gave a smile for the customers. I would recommend the place to anyone.

Good honest food with a lot of choice. Very friendly staff too. Quite a small frontage but it goes back a long way . A hidden gem really.

I am a diabetic, visually impared gentleman. I entered the cafe and between my friends and myself we purchased 3 meals and 3 drinks. I then requested a glass of water with which to take my dialysis medication and was told that I had to buy a bottle of water. I only required a small amount in a glass for 1 tablet yet this was denied me even after all the money spent here. The manager of another cafe in Erdington, Birmingham UK later informed me it was illegal to refuse my request. Hence I now no longer frequent the golden cafe, on Erdington, high street. This had been my regular cafe for the past 3 years visiting at least twice a month.

I would recommend this to anyone who went to erdington food fantastic service great clean and tidy well done to u all

Me and my family come here all the time. Lovely high spirited atmosphere. Very clean as the staff are on point especially with covid-19! Food is 10/10. I've enjoyed good coffee here for £1.70, which is almost a £ cheaper than Costa. A large choice of breakfasts from £3. It's been a while since I have eaten here, so can't comment on the food. Some interesting lunch meal selections including: liver n onions for £7 ish. An impressive collection of photos on the wall of historic Erdington.

Best Cafe for now in Erdington situated across from Church Road / High St. Set menus plus many other options to choose from on their large menu. Covid-19 Restrictions in place so it's kept spotlessly clean by the lovely friendly Staff. Cash payment only in this cafe.

Quality cafe, HUGE range of set meal options, which you can easily swop & change. They even do Fried Bread 😜 Hard to find better Breakfast. Definitely going back!

Most of the staff are nice guess the young girl was probably just having a bad day when we caught her.

Love this Brand but hate visiting this branch in Sutton Coldfield. The Staff are not very helpful at all. Seem they can't be bothered. Their heads are too far up their rear ends. I found the same experience in the Birmingham City Centre Branch & wasn't suprized it closed...

Me and my husband had breakfast and it was absolutely enjoyable. Our plates were clean. Staff was very pleasant and quick to correct our order. The place is very nice roomy and clean. Love the idea of the open kitchen. definately will be coming back.

El personal es muy amable, puedes bromear y reírte con ellos y con otros clientes. Tampoco soportan el bullying, me han ayudado en el pasado. También hacen todo lo posible para no permitir personajes dudosos (mendigos, drogadictos ...). Lo convierten en un entorno seguro y seguro y siempre te hacen sentir como en casa. Su comida es de un valor muy alto, demasiado razonable, las porciones son bastante grandes dependiendo de lo que tienes. Creo que la comida y la bebida tienen una excelente relación calidad-precio en comparación con otras cafeterías / restaurantes de Erdington / otras ciudades. Mi comida favorita es el hígado y el tocino con puré de papas, verduras. Me gustan todas las comidas en el menú, aparte de papas fritas, papas fritas, cebolla cruda. Me gusta el hecho de que puedo pedir alternativas a los chips, otras cosas que están fritas. Me gustan los postres, pero no los tengo a menudo, ya que estoy a dieta.

Meals are delicious but I always have to wait for my orders too long. 😔

I went here with my son as he wanted an all day breakfast. The dining area was very clean and so were the tables and chairs. The staff were friendly and welcoming. When the order was brought over it was hot and looked appealing, some cafes just dump the food on the plate, but this was nicely presented. My son said that the meal was good and had filled him up. I only had a coffee so I can't comment on how the food tasted, but the coffee was ok. I have walked passed the cafe many times and it always seems busy. Give it a try, you might just like it.

lovely cafe. Everyone was friendly. The cafe was clean and the menu was really good not over priced. The food was really good. we had bacon egg beans and chips and egg bacon sausages and chips. They also did a small plate for baby. I also had bread and butter and it only came to £10.20. good value. It is good for the disabled and toilets and again good for disabled very clean.They are helpful and table service. They even have sweeteners if you ask for them.

Pequeña cafetería con fachada, en High street en Erdington, Birmingham, pero ese es el engaño de esta cafetería. Hay una amplia zona de asientos en el interior, aireada y cálida. La comida es barata pero bien cocinada. Cuando vi los precios, no esperaba mucho, pero siento que acabo de robar este café. El menú es variado, buen servicio al cliente y restaurante limpio. Fuimos a desayunar a las 11 am, pero cambié a chuletas de cordero, papas fritas, guisantes y champiñones por 5. 50 y un extra de 1. 60 para un café con leche.

This place is so friendly with all the staff. The food is lovely cooked just how you like it and great value for money. We go there all the time sometimes late but they still allow there regulars to eat with is very good of them. Thank you for all your kindness

Revisamos este café / restaurante, antiguamente el "bar de la leche" un año o dos atrás, sobre cómo se había transformado en un gran restaurante para cenar: el desayuno o la cena. . . Bueno, ahora ha tenido otro reacondicionamiento para que sea un local aún mejor y más limpio. Nuevas fotos, piso y papel tapiz, etc. La comida era tan buena como antes y hay un inodoro para su conveniencia. muchos asientos y mesas que vimos fueron limpiados tan pronto después de que una persona había salido. El personal es amable y no hay necesidad de decir nada más. . . solo inténtalo. . !
