Order on Deliveroo atleast once a week from here and can I just say it’s anlways amazing !! Food is so hot and fresh this time round I ordered 5 kids meals adults burger meal and beer battered mushrooms all for £35 including delivery, food was outstanding hot fresh and really good portion sizes highly recommend not only really tasty but reasonably priced to !

Friendly staff, hot food, and I didn't have to wait long, very welcoming and polite, and the pub was nice and clean. Paige was very pleasant, polite, and helpful.

Went for a craft fair a bit poor no reflection on the pub though

Absolutely loved my visit to the Drakes Drum, Great Barr. Myself and my group had the function room upstairs for a intimate party-everyone loved the space and the catering was brilliant. Staff were so helpful and friendly. When I back again for Sunday lunch, I got a warm welcome and felt instantly at home. The atmosphere is a great mix of relaxed and upbeat. Was testament to the service that the regulars had their own tables reserved! The menu had great variety and as a Vegetarian/Vegan i really enjoyed the sticky vegan ribs and cheesy chips. Drinks are very reasonably priced and as a teetotaller myself, I didn’t feel uncomfortable but enjoyed a meeting with friends in the quieter booth. Wholeheartedly recommend visiting this easily accessible venue-i don’t drive and it was a quick bus ride from Birmingham city Center. Five stars! X

I’ve been here a few times with my husband for food… Lorri the owner is a smashing host to all her customers and the food is brilliant here… we’ve never had a bad meal, it’s quick to arrive even at busy times, always fresh and tasty. We’ve always had a nice time when we visit… So our thanks Lorri and the rest of the staff for another great night out yesterday… 👌👌👌

Great night here again last They have very experienced Chefs here and that make for happy diners 😋😋 Lorri takes a real pride in her pub making sure all the customers have a great experience. She’s always been very welcoming and friendly as are the rest of her team. The Drakes Drum has a lot of regulars and it’s easy to see why… great staff, tasty food and a really good atmosphere throughout.

I came to The Drakes to do some work out of hours about 7 last night. What a place !! Amazing customer service from Tasha.... This lady is the Pinnacle of how managers and staff should be with customers and guests.. professional and thorough (checked my iD and works orders) but really friendly and an absolute pleasure to deal with... and she was excellent with the customers and staff. The Drakes Drum was a hive of activity with people enjoying the Food, Drinks, Darts and multiple big screen TVs showing the latest sports... Friendly vibe throughout the whole pub The food coming from the kitchen looked fresh and tasty. Drakes Drum is a hugely popular venue with a very large function room and free parking.. Never took any pictures as too many people on site 📸 But would gladly recommend a visit if in the area 🍻🥃🥂🍸 Thanks to Tasha and the staff for looking after me during my visit... (D)

Great atmosphere, excellent service and fabulous nights/events there. The entertainment is always brilliant and the kids love the shows/events they put on in the function room now and again. Would 100% recommend a visit and the staff are spot on!

Warm friendly welcome, ordered a butter milk chicken burger double OMG so moist and tender the food was hot and delicious. Dessert was the Waffle fully loaded with Cadbury chocolates buttons, flake, milky bar and fudge pieces…. Hit the spot will definitely return

Very disappointing. We have a big football match on man c v Chelsea and no commentary due to a live singer who can't even sing. About 40 in for football and 5 in for singer. Sort it out

Get yourself down to the Drum on a Friday night. Ask for Tash she is the best barmaid in the world. If Carlsberg made barmaids then she is at the Drum!!

It's my local, been coming her for 12 years, it's not posh, just a nice pint & decent pub grub, just what a local should be.

Enjoyable visit. Tasty food, helpful and attentive staff, reasonable value and the patrons seemed to be behaving respectfully. The app wasn't that user-friendly and not all items appeared on the app (such as Lime cordial and lemonade).

Love goin to this pub even thou don't live Brum side anymore make the effort to go there. Food is always spot on tasty & hot...service with a smile by all the staff always & regulars are very friendly..entertainment is on over weekends & always good..wish this pub was closer to me.

Took my dad out for a birthday meal to sample the new menu. Food was delicious. Was great to see lorri back behind the bar after her surgery.

Travelled up from Coventry to see family. Visited this pub on a few occasions now and it never fails in food quality or service. The new menu is superb. The chicken burger is the best I have eaten. Best pub in the area I have found. Nice to travel up and have somewhere nice to eat when visiting. Was also lovely to see Lorri back behind the bar after her surgery. See you and the team soon.

First & foremost this is a pub not a restaurant so no food review. Called in Saturday at 6pm with my wife for drinks in the lounge. The lounge is large but sadly only has 4 small tables & 2 large ones all occupied so nowhere to sit. I was guided to the far end of the pub for a seat which is where families sit for a meal. There are plenty of tables & seats in that area but we had already eaten & who wants to watch families eating & kids rolling around the floor, so we left. The lounge has room for another 6+ tables away from the food area. Some of us just want to have a drink & socialise, but not if there is nowhere to sit. We did not want to go into the bar & watch people playing pool all night. My advice: Get more non food related tables into the lounge or lose more customers.

The food was great with big portions and was piping hot. There was a good selection of drinks at a reasonable price. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

Had food with 5 of my friends at lunch time all had a different variety of food. Two meals for £11 such a good offer. We had fish chips!! You can’t beat it! Chip shop costs £20 for two now! You can’t get better than...
