Quite the best roast beef and spuds ever. Despite our amateur hour with booking the wrong Bell and Crown 🤣🤣 they managed to find us a table on an already very busy afternoon. Friendly staff, fabulous food, superb atmosphere. No wonder it’s our favourite pub in the area. Oh and their sister pub in Hindon too.

Cold & draughty, fire almost out.. We had to sit with our coats on.. Food was tepid , poor quality & expensive.. Service was poor..

Had a lovely festive Christmas menu with family in December, so we were itching to get back to try the Sunday Carvery. Unfortunately it didn't meet our expectations. On the plate it looked lovely but the meat was tough, roasters were like leather, the swede had far too much pepper added as thats all you could taste. Apple crumble after, again presentation lovely but it was a mixture of what I could only describe as apple puree with undercooked apple chunks in it. It's the first time I've ever known my husband not to clear his plate. Latte was the best I've had in ages!
