The best restaurants serving British food in Yetminster West Dorset South West

Went to Hillside for afternoon tea with my two sisters. Absolutely delightful experience. Sat outside in the sunshine, peaceful, quiet with hostess Sue who was just lovely. All the food was delicious and homemade with refills on tea and coffee. Can't recommend Sue highly enough and will be going back again.

Amazing staff, super friendly and welcoming

We visited this cafe and weren’t met with a particularly warm welcome. We were told that all the tables were booked inside and we could sit outside. The website says that bookings are taken for large bookings so naturally assumed that bookings for 2 people couldn’t be made. We decided to give the cafe a 2nd chance and sat outside. Whilst eating the table was inundated with loads of wasps making the whole experience miserable. Shan’t be visiting again.
